The new general manager is power hungry and canceled my membership for no reason, I was simply just trying to help a family member out because he needed some motivation to get back in the gym and I come back the next day with my membership being terminated

This place is disgusting. The men’s locker room is awful. You will be lucky to get a shower with an actual head. There will often be graffiti in the showers. I’ve witnessed homeless people sleeping in there. Once I went into a shower and there was feces on the shower floor. Every once in a while they get someone who works the front that will do the bare minimum of greeting people. Those all star employees don’t seem to last very long.

I stopped going here for a few years and this morning I figured I’d give it another shot, and that was a mistake. It is An absolute abomination of gyms. There are a scarcity of weights, the equipment is old, some of them are broken to the point where it is a safety concern, nothing is ever reracked, etc.
The only pleasant experience I’ve had here was the front desk staff. Otherwise, avoid.

I just left the Lakewood gym. Come on guys it's literally disgusting in the women's locker room. Hair everywhere, roaches in the lockers, sauna and steam room smells horrible. I invited a guests to work out with me and after looking around they went to Costco to shop while I worked out...so embarrassing 🤦🏽♀️

I stopped coming to this gym about 6 months ago. And it was fine then. Now that I am coming back, I really like the new staff members. They are friendly and much more engaging than the previous staff.
I very excited to see what the new RENOVATION bring. I’m hoping for more treadmills and cable weight machines.

Amazing staff, very clean but please start with the renovation already. Almost half of the machines don’t work anymore.

This location is in dire need of a remodel.
Start with repairing equipment that has been broken for a lot of months. I mean a lot!!! Mainly treadmills and stair masters.
Oh and the bathrooms…..disgusting!!!

REMODELING- Treadmills are always down, there's only like 4 functioning stairmasters. It would be nice if there was more than 1 Smith machine. The bathrooms are almost NEVER clean.

There's a rumor going around that you're facility is removing the basketball courts for more workout equipment? Is this true. I have been a member for along time and it's because I love playing basketball. I know I'm not the only one. We have a group that plays basketball every Sunday morning. This is really sad news if it's true. Please don't take away your basketball court.

The sauna has been down for over a week. I went to use the steam room and there is visible mold and dirt from not being cleaned. They need to figure out a regular cleaning schedule and monitor that it is being down throughout the gym
Update 7/22 still not fixed and still dirty.
Update: 7/29 The wifi has been down for almost a week. Ive asked them to reset the router and it still has not been done. Praying my 3rd request today will make it happen.

Update 8/20/24 : The DM of the gym with the salt and pepper hair still chooses not to do anything. Even after I personally spoke to him. He sits around worried about kicking out the youngsters without a pass or flirting with the pretty girls that come in and have no idea about the cleanliness of this gym and broken equipment. See photos attached. I’m more than happy to reconsider my review but after staying away for months it’s only gotten worse after stepping foot in here again yesterday. My review has helped 10,000 plus people to stay away from this gym and I wish it was the other way to drive traffic. That’s also uploaded friends ??♂️
Previous 4 This gym has so much potential and is such great size but why is it so filthy??? Like there is no cleaning it’s non existent here. Machines haven’t been wiped down in probably a good year. The bathrooms are literally so disgusting and the showers don’t even get me started how bad it is.
The sauna and steam room, touted as relaxing amenities, fall short due to cleanliness issues A ton of equipment is been out of order for awhile. The showers were quite a disappointment, they are always filthy. I’ve seen the same fur balls and paper on the drain for over a week. But I do realize overall members need to not be so savage like. Clean up after your damn selves people.however, this is an honest review and you guys need to do better before people get sick from this place.
