On a past occasion we went in the store after reserving a truck for our shed building needs and when we got there were told by the rep Kirk that we needed to have our cellphone. We lived about 5 minutes away and weren't about to go home to retrieve it. The darn website never stated we'd need a cellphone with us to complete the transaction. The reservation details specifically mentioned only to bring these 3 things: Driver's license, proof of insurance & a credit card. We were very annoyed, so we asked for a manager and Ray appeared and backed up his employee about not being about to change the policy. He empathized but that didn't resolve our issue so we went to customer service to cancel our items which was about 3 blocks away from the rental area to add to our frustration. The returns rep then got a call from Mgr. Ray and he offered to have our items delivered instead to adhere to the policy and not inconvenience us further. He agreed they need to add that 4th item to have on you when reserving a truck. This review for Carson Home depot went from 1 star to 5 thanks to Manager Ray asking Rental Clerk to drive our items to us and save a sale and kept us from complaining to Corporate! Thanks for being customer oriented! unfortunately we tossed the receipt since then but when shopping for hornet poison we remembered to write this experience. On today's visit Garden Associate Anita was kind enough to suggest we spray the poison at night to not risk getting stung. Also, when I went to look at the HVAC kiosk to inquire about something, Associate Rissa was very attentive to not even have me wait 2 minutes when she greeted me and answered my question. You have a very good staff here! I can't say the same at some other nearby stores where I see employees carrying on with each other and not even aware I'm standing there waiting for one to take a breath so I can interrupt their conversation to ask for help.”

“I visited the store specifically seeking patio chairs and a table. Upon arrival, I observed that the store had a single patio chair and one table that were already assembled, along with another table still in its original packaging. I inquired about the possibility of purchasing only the assembled chair and table. My request was granted after the employee consulted with someone else. I found that Jose provided excellent assistance during my visit, a stark contrast to the service I had previously received at the Norwalk location. Consequently, I was very satisfied with the level of assistance I received from the staff at the Long Beach store. Thank you Jose store associate.”

“I’ve been to quite a few Home Depot locations over the years, and this one continues to be a reliable place to shop. The store is clean, well-organized, and the employees have always been friendly whenever I’ve needed assistance.
What really stood out on this visit was the selection of carpet and upholstery cleaners, especially if you have pets. They had a wide variety of models from Hoover, Shark, Dirt Devil, Bissell, and Ryobi, making it easy to compare features and prices in one place. I ended up purchasing the Dirt Devil portable spot cleaner that was on sale for around $70, which was an excellent value compared to similar models. If you’re looking for something to clean up after dogs or pets without spending a fortune, it’s definitely worth checking out.
I also appreciated how well the department was stocked and organized, making it easy to compare products without feeling rushed. Overall, this was another great Home Depot experience with helpful staff, competitive prices, and a surprisingly impressive selection for pet owners. I’ll definitely be back for future home improvement projects.”
“Home Depot: You can always find the kinds of things you need for building different projects at home Depot. I went there to buy a piece of insulation 4x8 sheet that I thought I could get cut on the sores there but they don't cut insulation there. The guy told me I could take it home and cut it with a exacto knife but I couldn't get it into my car. It was too big that way so he got down off his forklift even though he was doing something else and cut my thing in the in a different ways. I needed it to the different sizes that I needed the best service I've ever had.”

“I had a great experience at Home Depot store signal hills location ! The staff members Eddie (head cashier) and Yuliana ( millworker) were extremely friendly, professional, and helpful. They took their time to assist me and made sure I found exactly what I was looking for.
Their customer service was outstanding and made me feel comfortable and valued as a customer. It’s honestly one of the best service experiences I’ve had. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place!”

“Toilet handle broke on a weekend. Couldn't wait dor Monday. Took the broken handle to Home Depot in Westminster and told an employee that I have absolutely no idea what I am doing. He was very nice, explaining what needs to be done. He even allowed me to videotape him assembling the various parts. I went home, watched the video, and followed instructions. I ended up with a working toilet handle again! Saved myself a lot of aggravation and money.”
“Came with my measurements, but was wrong Andy’s employees were very helpful and when I came back with correct metric measurements I got the right screws and since I made an earlier purchase. They exchanged for me. At no cost, love the service and family who runs it is doing great business. Why run to Home Depot when Andy’s Hardware is around the corner. “Had a great experience at The Home Depot. The store is well-stocked and organized, making it easy to find everything from basic home supplies to bigger project materials. Even when it’s busy, the aisles are generally kept clear and things are easy to locate.
The staff was helpful and knowledgeable, especially when I needed guidance on picking the right tools and materials for a home project. Someone actually took the time to walk me through options instead of just pointing me in a direction, which I really appreciated.
Checkout was quick, and I liked that there were multiple self-checkout and assisted lanes open, which helped move things along. Overall, it’s a reliable place to go for home improvement needs, and I’ll definitely be back for future projects.”
