I didn't like my daughter last class because she wasn't fired and she wasn't given any recognition. She completed a whole year of classes, the membership expired. and my daughter wants a basketball program for that reason I no longer renewed the membership. but it wasn't fair to me, and I didn't like the last class. I imagined it was going to be more dynamic because you always made punctual payments whether I attended or not Give it to Classes.I was very dissatisfied because lately you paid more attention to the new children and not to her. At least imagine something that would make my daughter feel special that would make her want to come back on her last day.

Such a great positive place for kids! My daughter has never loved gymnastics as much as she does now thanks to TLG. She has improved in so many ways! Everyone who works there loves their job and it shows in all kids smiles!

WHY THIS PROGRAM?I used to work at this location as one of the gymnastics instructors for kids 4 months - 12 years old (all classes offered). I highly recommend this for children who need more social interaction (with other children, adults, and/or their own guardian), confidence, physical movement/flexibility/mobility, and for those who'd like to tryout gymnastics, to ease their kids into it, or as a class to improve skills for other sports, like cheerleading. Many parents actually enrolled their kids because their pediatricians recommended these classes for those who needed physical/speech therapy to encourage walking/talking. It really helps!EXPECTATIONS: (from the program & from you)Each child connects to each instructor differently so be aware of that. This is very natural and also depends on what area your child needs/wants to grow in more. They can slowly improve if you are consistent with the classes and it is in your best interest to give them that chance to do so. In my experience, I've noticed that each child starts and improves differently. The instructors should be taking a mental note of that and adjust when teaching the skills hands on. Just voice to them if your child has mentioned their eagerness to grow further or any other feelings they have had about moving too fast. I've had kids come in super cautious or just want to be by the guardian's side the whole time but, overtime, they started to get more confident and involved as they consistently came in each week. Explore all the instructors if needed and definitely all programs they have to offer. They have themed lesson plans for each week and month with the company's personal music that is made specifically for child development. SCHEDULING:Communicate with the staff if you can't make it or if you need a specific schedule, they will accommodate and give you make-up days. They always understand and just want what's best for you and your child. I promise, they don't bark or bite. Communication is key.LAST NOTE...If your child is already at an intermediate or advanced level with gymnastics, I recommend looking into other gyms if you or your child is really wanting to improve even further. Other than that, highly recommend this program for all children and will definitely be enrolling my own in the future! Hope this helps.

I can't say enough good things about this little gym. I have been bringing my older daughter here since she was 10 months old and is now 2.5. She loves it and has become more confident with herself over the years. All the staff are very nice, great with kids and knowledgeable regarding child development. The equipment is cleaned regularly. I would recommend this place to anyone with young kids, so valuable for kids to learn what their body can do in a safe space. They also have a "parent night out"session once a month on Friday night. I'm excited for my little one to turn 3 so we can do that.

we've been in two different classes and all of the teachers have been great. Interactive classes, teachers try to engage the kids however they do not force a kid to participate. Clean environment and the teachers have alternative activities if there are any class mishaps(spills etc). If you have to miss a class, the allow make up days. Only thing I think they could improve on, is sending family home if the child seems sick. My son has gotten sick twice from the class, one child came in with a nasty mucus cough and was allowed to participate. Be advised this is more of a energy draining and socializing class for the kids, they include some gymnastics movements into the day but it's not a gymnastics program.

A fantastic fun learning facility in Lakewood that provides an opportunity for children, especially toddlers to grow, learn wonderful skills, meet new friends and share their new found skills with their families. The kids have so much fun they don't even realize they are learning. The classes are an hour long and the teachers/instructors are great. The children are constantly praised for their good efforts. No one is ever forced to do anything, just gently encouraged. Great value for the cost.

The best and professional. The environment is so inviting and designed well. Our son loves it! Wish we were able to have his birthday party there but it was booked. I completely understand why. It is that amazing! I totally recommend this gym for all age children. My son loves every moment, every week. He learned to tumble properly, which was our main goal because he loved tumbling but hard falls. He also learned to throw the bouncy balls. He loves the easy access to everything in the gym. Definitely designed with really, really small kids in mind. Not mention the teachers are so involved and enthusiastic. They also remember the kiddos names which is a plus. This Friday is his first event outside of class!!! The "Boo Bash". I am very satisfied! Thank you 'The Little Gym'! -Lake

Highly recommend!!! My son get super excited every time we go. He is a pandemic baby so he really needed to interact with kids his age. He is not shy anymore, he has improved tremendously. Now he is running all over the gym and playing with all the kids and teachers.

I have had a horrible experience with this business. I enrolled my daughter with hopes that she would learn gymnastics. The curriculum definitely did not meet my expectations, which is fine. When I decided I no longer wanted to have my daughter participate. I wen through the cancellation procedures in February. I was assured I would no longer be billed. I continued to be billed for March, April, and May. The coaches have great personalities and interact well with the kids. But administration is sub par!! I was supposed to be refunded for the months my daughter did not participate and I had a cancellation on file. I have yet to see a refund. It is really hard to reach them since they do not have regular business hours. Overall. I think this was a complete waste of time and money. We can play with our own kids for free!!

I enrolled my daughter in it last year from August until the end of October. Where I did enjoy the individual playtime and set up, I felt like I ended up paying a lot more than needed; especially when there were not many class options. Unfortunately, there were several Saturdays that we couldn't join that I paid for but could never make up. So, it does feel like I wasted money. Unfortunately, a lot of the parents were not that friendly here (this has nothing to do with The Little Gym of Lakewood). I did find the gym to not be really clean/organized well. At the same time, the ladies there were very friendly and nice. I appreciated that and their customer service. This was my daughter's first activity so I will always be grateful for that.

Buyers beware!!!My daughter came here a little under a year, recommended by a friend. She had a good experience but I did not. Staff is friendly and great with the kids but admin is lacking. Although I bought a summer packet of classes they would not transfer them to my other child or nephew. Just wasted money. Ask for their policy before buying here!
