My mother needed surgery and the hospital was nearby we live upstairs in Koreatown and mom was so tired after leaving hospital we saw the Trade Winds Motel sign and just took a chance. This place is next to everything and beautiful on the inside. They told us they only had upstairs but Anesha was very nice and accommodating. She was able to get us in a bottom room and early, they do have early check in but you will pay more. Its worth it when you are tired like us and barely slept for 2 days. The beds are so comfortable we slept really good. Will be back ....thank you

Horrible, I got there at 4:00 p.m. only reason I chose this place was for a kitchen. As I have had issues in the past I asked the lady at the counter if there's kitchens she said all rooms have kitchens. That was weird cuz I had to pay extra for a kitchen as they were rooms without kitchens for cheaper online at this same motel. Well after getting in the room I realized the stove does not work. The lady at the front desk told me to wait for the manager to come in about an hour. Well two and a half hours went by and a gentleman came to my room and showed me the steps needed to turn on the stove. So why did I wait all this time when the lady up front could have just told me to hold the power button down for 5 seconds? Now I'm told that only certain pans work on this stove and then I would need to go purchase them from across the street at Walmart for 9 or 10 bucks he said Even though they're is it a sign in the lobby saying they have induction pans for 20 bucks if needed which they didn't. The only plan I found at Walmart cost me $52 so now I can finally 3 hours later go to my room and cook. except for the refrigerator is half of a mini fridge I couldn't even put my items in it. I pulled the fridge out to adjust the temperature and roaches ran out everywhere. Obviously frustrated the man asked me how long was I staying here so I'm guessing he can try to make another day better since she's not trying to make this day any better. Why the heck would I stay in this crappy room which is obviously for vagrants and such as there was literally someone digging in the dumpster on property as I was checking in. I travel a lot I'm in hotels a lot and this one here is far one of the worst I've ever been in. To top it all off the ice machine was out of order which takes coins. Look for yourself

I had a great stay at the Trade Winds Motel in Lakewood! The room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet for the area. The staff was friendly and made check-in super easy. It’s in a convenient location with plenty of food spots and stores nearby, which made everything really convenient. For the price, it’s definitely a solid value — simple, clean, and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again

Stayed at the motel for a few days.
The first night was tough—the walls were very thin, and we could clearly hear the people next door watching TV and talking all night.
Luckily, we met a lovely staff member who handled the situation very well, and the following nights were much more peaceful.
The manager also did his best to accommodate our needs, which we really appreciated.
Overall, a challenging start but a much better experience in the end.

Convienently located near stadium venues. Room are below average and need updating. Price was definitely inflated for this motel.

The rooms were very smokey. The room also had roaches. The lights lamps was not working . The decor needs more work like quick patch. The foot traffic at the motel was horrible. I never never want to go back. I had a bad experience with motel manger not being polite needs to practice better customers service
