Long story short, I had transmission problems with another facility, and Lancaster Aamco took care of me. Also, my gearshift cable broke on me one day and was able to get it to their facility and Juan told me that they could order the part and have my truck ready for me the next day, they had my truck ready for me the next day they did me good. They took care of me and I’m sure they will take care of you.

It’s impossible to describe how bad these folks suck. Drop off my vehicle and was told it would be completed in two days guaranteed. It was 10 days until I got m vehicle back and it still wasn’t fixed. Had to go to another shop to finish getting it fixed. Would. Not do business with them ever again. This has nothing to do with the overcharging either. Fisher price, my first transmission repair.

Dropped off my car so I could get a diagnosis. They called me back saying that I had a transmission problem. They wanted $1000 to figure out what’s wrong with the transmission. I decided to take it to a transmission specialist. The owner test drove it free of charge and determined that nothing was wrong with my transmission. This people are crooks! They’re out to steal your money. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. They are so rude. Places like this people should be aware of. There only out to steal you money

Horrible experience, I would not recommend this shop to anyone. The transmission on my vehicle went out and I needed a replacement. They had me bring it to the shop to do a diagnostic check to confirm the issue and had me pay a $1000 deposit, that they assured me I would get back or it would go towards the cost of repair. They came back to me with a quote of over $8000. I declined at first and they told me that I would lose my $1000... I still declined but then the manager came back and all of the sudden they could actually do it for a little over $5000. I should have just walked away but I agreed to allow them to fix it. After getting the car back there was a heavy leak. I brought it back to them and even though it was under warranty they tried to charge me more saying that a seal was bad. After pushing back they agreed to fix it at no additional cost. They said it was ready and I drove it home, only to discover the leak was still there. I brought it back and now they are telling me it needs a new axle and seal because mine is leaking. Before the car was brought here it never leaked and they wanted me to pay an additional $1000+ to have it fixed and they claimed they did nothing to it. This place is a SCAM, they are liars just trying to con regular people out of more money. During this whole process the owner told me that I needed to let my friends know and write a raving review because they are giving me a "deal". Take your car anywhere else.UPDATE 7/25: The comment below shows you the type of customer experience you will receive from this establishment. Thank you for sharing some of the facts. You should share all of them though. For a brand new transmission you were going to charge me 8k. As far as me "crying the blues", it made more financial sense for me to just call the car a loss, so I respectfully declined and opted to not have the service done. I was going to put that money towards a new vehicle instead. Miraculously you found it in your heart to offer me a $1800 discount. How is it that you found that discount after I declined the services? Does that mean you were trying to squeeze every penny out of me like other google reviewers have shared. Another fact I would like to point out now that you have added your response. You tried to charge me for "other needed items" after you began working on the car and when I pushed back, you suddenly said you would do it at no charge. Sounds fishy that you guys ask for more money but can somehow "wave it" with pushback. Also, you wanted to charge me an additional $1200 to replace the axle that your shop broke. I had a real auto shop complete this service, they showed me where you had damaged my original axle and NEVER replaced the seal. The original seal was on the axle and it was damaged and had a tear in the lining. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THIS SHOP SAYS. They will nickel and dime you and try to make you feel like they are doing you a favor.

I brought my car in for repair, my transmission had a j*** between gears. Initially very friendly. I was called and told my car was ready. I did a quick test drive and discovered the jerking issue was still there. I then took a test drive with the mechanic and he confirmed. Left the car there, I then received a call telling me there will be additional cost, I signed off and they continued with the repair. I was called again to pick up my car, they also discovered the certain repairs were not needed and gave me a partial refund. Very good, thank you. I later discovered after a test drive with the mechanic, that my car now had trouble starting at certain times. They checked again and assured my that it was nothing they did. I stated that it did not have this problem before I brought it in. They still denied any wrong doing. I then took my car to another mechanic and he discovered that the crank shift sensor had been damaged during the repair causing the car to not start at various times. I kept telling them that something was directly related to my car not starting that was connected to the transmission. They continued to deny this.I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PARTICULAR AAMCO LOCATION. I gave them 2 stars because they did repair the transmission but ended up creating other issues and cost.
