The customer service is good so far, but unfortunately the only thing I would complain is the supervisor or manager was rude. He's caucasian about 5'3 feet. When I asked him about applying to the store he replied "Why would you apply when it's the busiest time of the year?? We have full staff already"

Pretty good place I like it I wish we had one in the SF valley the fruit I bought was so fresh and sweet. I went because I got a gift card and where my sister lives there was this one. Over all I recommend this market. The service okay now I understand why many places don't have baggers lol! But I like that luxury. The store is clean and organized.

Went in to order a cake for my granddaughters birthday I was amazed by the helpful employees and how beautiful the store was! I normally shop at the Walmart marketplace on Rancho Vista so walking into this Stater Brothers was a treat. As I was leaving an employee was walking in and wished me a good morning and wow to see employees going into work so happy and cheerful says something about the store! Very impressive!

This by far is the worst store I have ever shopped at!! For starters the management there is by far the most unprofessional I have ever seen!! I've lost count of how many times I've been in long lines and rather then open up a check stand they continue to socialize with employees and just stare at the long lines of customers standing waiting instead of opening up to get us checked out and on our way. Dont even get me started on service deli. I'm a regular customer there and that department is a joke!! Customer service is so poor I still wonder how they still have their jobs. Only people back there I can say are amazing is Marissa and Katt. They are always friendly and willing to help me with whatever I need. The rest of the staff? Forget it,if I wanted poor customer service I'd go to Walmart instead. This store used to be the best store always clean and everyone was so friendly and willing to help out, ever since the new manager Jessie has got there the whole store has got to shit. Just the other day I was in line waiting to be checked out and as I'm waiting for my items to be rung up I over heard two employees Steven and kalaya flirting back and forth saying things they should not be saying while checking out customers. Not to mention there have been times where I can see them touching eachother in a way that is not only inappropriate but isn't family welcoming. They need to be separated asap! So unprofessional. If you want my honest opinion this store if I had to rate it 3-10. I would not recommend shopping here. DO BETTER STATER BROTHERS!!!

Please help train your managers in customer service. Twice this week I've been in & the female manager with glasses walks into the office & doesn't help at all. I heard her tell other employees I need to sign papers. Can't that wait until the lines are under control? I've noticed the whole place going to crap lately since new management. New faces & bad attitudes all around

There were 10 people in line. One cashier. No self checkout. I called to speak with a manager but the phone system said they were experiencing issue and to call back later. I worked in grocery and it is a competitive field. Astonishingly bad store. So bad corporate needs to know. Do NOT shop here.

On 4/22/23 I went in to pick up cupcakes in bakery around 1:40PM, when I arrived to the bakery there was none there and I was waiting patiently up in front of the glass until a random employee decided that he wants to sweep right where I was standing when There was none around. Made me feel harassed and like he was trying to move/sweep me out of the way. I got annoyed and decided to go wait in line at the deli counter since I was being moved and there was two people in line making me in 3rd. One girl was prepping, one girl working slicer and one stocking food bar but none at bakery. When it was my turn at deli I handed over a receipt for cupcakes and I was greeted with "Next time you can wait at the bakery counter". Pretty self explanatory why someone would not want to just "wait".When I left with my one pack of cupcakes and I was heading towards the exit and this poor elder lady was walking fast and when I got abound the corner by the main entrance that same guy that was sweeping was directly behind her too it looked like he was trying to sweep her out of the way too. Later that day when I took those cupcakes to the baby shower I didn't realize they forgot a whole other 12 cupcakes so I got half of my order. Now that I think about it too they kept my receipt and didn't even offer it back. That's not even all too .........I went back on 4/23/23,my wife ,newborn and myself.Just for a few things for dinner and went to where fruits and vegetable tables are, there wasn't a whole lot of people but maybe like 2/3 workers. What was really upsetting is how rude the tone came off when the manager just had to go out of her way to say -"Those scales aren't for customer use, there for employees only"1. Why put it in reach of all customers. 2. Do you stop everyone from ever using it, unless you put a security guard next to the fruit too.3. If you can't stop everyone from using the scale then why bother ? Why single out? We ended up not getting the grapes in the end, they were marked down for the wrong price and some of the bags were un even too. After the blonde ponytail manager said that we were both shocked like wow. We ended up walking away from her and she was following us down the refrigerator vegetable wall.So far every visit I have seems to be getting worse and worse...This is not a welcoming environment for small families minding their own business just trying to shop ,cause if there not talking s*** about customers at checkout there trying to sweep you out of the way and make patronizing comments towards you while they follow you through the store to single you out. This place's prices are already high, plus you gotta deal with rude employees. And even in all this that's still not all the bad experiences.......This place has no structure,GM needs to be, Retrained,Revalidated and or Replaced. Before anyone try's to reach out and pretend to say sorry I'll believe less than half of what you say cause your actions will be what will always speak louder.Already emailed: CustomerSupport@staterbr… on 4//24/23.

I like shopping at Stater Bros for the great sales that they have in the meat department, especially beef. The quality of the meat for the price keeps me coming back. And the meat is always delicious.

False advertising. The cashier and bag get were as helpful to their ability but the night manager was not helpful He couldn't say which type of chips fit the advertisement. It said. Doritos ruffles SunChips and Tostitos buy 4 for 1.99 each. Yet no one could say which Tostitos and when shown the aisle where they were they all said 3.99 each yet the advertisement said "selected varieties 5.5oz to 15.5oz which the Tostitos were. 15 oz. If this isn't a con tell me what is it? I'm disappointed in management. To say that they were "sold out" but couldn't say which Tostitos. What a snow job to the customer. Watch out! Thank you for responding business manager but no where on sign inside store did it state Tostitos Salsa as you stated but thank you for clarification and hope it is clarified for other customers in the future. Once again many thanks

I like this store a lot. It is an older building, so it doesn't have the look of some newer stores, but it makes up for it in products and staff. I love the meat department. The staff is always fr and very helpful. The will cut and. grind meat at no additional charge. They also have vegetable and shelf items that stores twice their size don't have.I never regret going here.

While I waited in the checkout line, Hunter (the cashier) recognized an acquaintance of his then engaged in a prolonged "personal" conversation about a relative's health, which is OK as long as the check-out process is NOT impeded. However, his friend inserted their credit/debit card into the card-reader but chose to engage with Hunter rather than enter their PIN to complete the transaction as they both continued their conversation seemingly oblivious to the long line of customers. After several minutes, I politely encouraged them to complete their transaction by stating "come on guys, let's keep it moving." To which Hunter, immediately became unnecessarily rude and aggressive in verbally assaulting me for, essentially, requesting that he do his job by completing his current transaction and to facilitate checking out the remaining customers in the long line that had formed and where some customers were becoming vocal about the delayed check-out process that was caused by Hunter's behavior. After finally paying for my purchase and checking out, Hunter continued to make snide comments as I walked away, which was extremely childish, unnecessary and, more importantly, unprofessional! In general, I would normally dismiss this as immaturity and chalk it up to youth and inexperience but, in this case, I feel that Hunter's behavior was so egregious that it must be addressed to prevent recurrence! In my opinion, it's quite apparent that Hunter should NOT be in a customer-facing position if he is incapable of properly doing his job and/or of controlling his temper! He chose to ignore his current customer - who was actually his friend - to needlessly engage with me in an effort to justify his bad behavior that was only exacerbated by his continued hostility and the prolonged wait for everyone else in the checkout line.

I went to this Stater Bros. Dec. 11th at about 4:00 pm. The front end manager was visible and was tidying up the front. The cashiers were friendly, having a sacker was a bonus and even the security guard was friendly. Someone who was stocking eggs even asked me what I needed and pointed out where it was. Best grocery store experience I've had in years! I was a grocery clerk for 5 years. This is how we were taught to treat our customers then!
