I love this store. Reading some of these other reviews kind of makes me sad to hear all these tunnel vision thoughts. Yes sometimes the girls are tired but what I do is start a polite conversation which usually shifts there focus. I mean if you want respect you have to give it and stop feeling entitled to everything. Also you can ask the employees for advice and that's just what it is it's not professional recommendations..it's up to you to know your hair and what it can or can't take and up to you to read the instructions what works for one person may not work with the other. When all else fail googke and you tube has all the answers. But this store and all genesis are my go to store.. they have alot of different product and hair selections for a good price and they always have new products coming in. The employees are always helpful and polite. I came right when they had close I watched them locking the door as I was walking to it i called the store and asked if u can just get something really quick and she came and unlocked the door and let me in didn't rush me out and still helped me locate products and answer questions i wish i remembered her nane because I really appreciated that...Anyways I love this store it helps me keep me and my daughters hair on point.. thank you ladies!

WARNING COMING TO THIS BUISNESS. This establishment and its management is an absolute scam. I was told by the employee to apply a product that required developer (hi color L’Oréal) by itself and of course it ended with me getting chemical burns to my scalp. That is why I made it very clear to the girl that sold it to me, I made sure to inform her that I was clueless regarding hair dye and needed help with my purchase. She told me all I needed to do was apply the product alone. I made it clear that I didn’t want to end up coming back for other products & she said no that’s all you need. When I called, she refused to acknowledge where she went wrong & didn’t try to help me at all. I Went to urgent care & of course my scalp was chemical burned. I have been calling since Thursday, Supervisor Rosie refuses to call me back. I have spoke with several managers that keep telling me there’s nothing they can do and only Rosie can. I spent about $50 for chemical burns at this location and they’re all owned by the same person and nobody can help me. I’m absolutely mortified that this business functions this way even with camera footage that proves that the employee steered me the wrong direction. I have called well over 30-50 times to all locations and Rosie still does not call me. This is a disgusting way for business to be conducted and unsafe for consumers. They hire people that don’t know what they’re selling & then treat you badly.Received a call today (2/7/23) to come get my refund. Thanks to the power of Social media, I’m assuming she saw my review. I would’ve loved to tell Rosie about how she is—to her face but I couldn’t make it so I sent my husband. Rosie proceeded to make it worse by lying to his face. She claimed that SHE WASNT AWARE that she was supposed to call me AT ALL. Even with me speaking with 3 of her store managers, and three different employees that all took my number and relayed to her. Sonia, the lancaster manager was the only one that tried to help the situation & was nice, and respectful. Rosie didn’t hesitate when she threw her own team under the bus. She denied offering me 10% off, which is what she would tell her staff to tell me as a quick fix. She simply acted as if she was clueless, and blamed her staff for failure to inform her. Disgusting behavior seeing how Sonia actually tried to help. I highly advise people not to shop here. Just glad I FINALLY got my money back it’s only right. Sonia should have her position, customers would be much happier to spend here.

The girl with the pink splat hair dye complains about her job half way threw the day, i went and she just kept sighing every time i would add something. Honestly If u don't like your job, find one you will. It was super annoying! And rude !

Horrible customer service, this girls think they can treat customers with no respect. I get we are in a ghetto area but come in if you hate your job so much quit. Both employees today had a poor attitude, not willing to help out, making funny faces when a customer is asking a questions about Extentions. The employee who ring me up throw my receipt in the trash instead of asking me if I want it it. Horrible customer service. Never gain I will shop here. Online business for me

Horrible phone customer service. I much rather the store suggest I not come to their store instead of acting that way when I call to get information. There’s dozens of other hair shops, save yourself a bad day and skip this one

It's ashame but everything is locked up and you have to get assistance. I understand haircare products can be costly with loss of product. So far all the help have been great.
