CUSTOMER BEWARE. Shopping online with Michaels is an absolutely scam. On January 2nd 2024. I ordered online two bracelet making kits for a 9 yo. The advertisement said, "Buy one get the 2nd one @ 50% off " No problem. I bought 2 maker's @ $19.99 each. The second one 1/2 off was $9.99. My total was $33.05. A hour later I get an email that my 2 items are ready for pickup. 10 mins later I get an email saying, " Cancellation notice. I changed my mind regarding an item" I never canceled anything. HERE'S THE KICKER!! When I called. I was told that one of the items wasn't in stock which was why it was canceled. Even though supposedly it was ready for pickup. So now, because there weren't 2 items. The 50% discount didn't apply. I was told that there was no way to replace the out of stock item with another item so I could get the discount. Since the order was ready for pickup. If I wanted buy one get one @ 50% off. I needed to now buy 2 more items. My refund was not for the listed price $19.99 or $9.99. Even though that's what my receipt says. Michaels priced the items at $16.51 & $16.54. $5.00 off each item. My refund was the lesser of the two. By applying the 50% discount to each item. Now, no other store coupon applied since they are whatever percentage off the regular price. CUSTOMERS BEWARE!! THIS HAS TO BE A COMMON PRACTICE THAT MICHAELS USES ALL THE TIME. Nothing about my online order added up number wise. This morning, someone from customer care. Suggested that I fill out the online email survey if I had any concerns about my order because he wasn't sure who would be able to make a verbal complaint.?

Michaels is a great store, today I needed to buy a frame
I found what I needed, at the same time I needed to use restroom (thank god) they allow shoppers to use it, and it was clean (score 10). Self check was good, and adding my coupon was not a issue. The attendant added new bags for me due carts not leaving store. Heads up, if you shop big, bring a dolly, or your own trolly. I double bagged my candles (bags are thin).My only negative was there were two people checking out, and the attendant wanted both of us at self checkout. The register only accepted Cash. Only bummer.

If I could give zero stars I would!!
During the time I was there, I had to use the restroom. I have kidney issues and cannot and should not hold it very long. I asked the employee for the restroom and was told they just mopped and it's not safe till it's dry. Ok, so I keep shopping for another 15 minutes, and now seriously hurting to potty, I ask the same employee, and get the same answer. I tell her about my kidney issues and asked for the management when she still said no. She states she's the manager and I should go to Walmart to potty. (Really? She's like maybe 18) They were closing in an hour -she was lazy and rude. Not going to this store again!

Anything related to craft Michael's will provide you. From knitting to framing your favorite picture or football jersey, they have it. If you're into drawing, they have a great selection of markers and colored pencils. I gave Michael's a 4 out of 5 because they can be a bit pricey. The good thing is if you go to their website, under coupons, they always have coupons for customers to use.

The last time I was in there, I could not describe well what I wanted, but the employee took me to something similar where I found exactly what I wanted! I felt that was excellent customer service! FYI, I was specifically looking for a tacky something that would hold a stained glass window in case it got bumped and might slide off the ledge it was resting on. As you can see from the picture, that is not how the product was intended to be used, but it has given me peace of mind while the window is in a different location during the holidays.
