Went there today as I was having trouble with the battery that I bought from them. Turns out the positive battery terminal was stretched out. Asked them if there was anything that could be done about that and they said no. You need to buy it from the dealer. After researching, I found out that there are lead shims that can be bought at pep boys, AutoZone, advance Auto everywhere essentially for six bucks. Bought one and my neighbor put it on for me and it's working like a champ. No more problem! Too bad the people that work there do not have knowledge about the inventory they carry to fix these problems!

I went to Pep Boys located in Lancaster and I told them that my vehicle had already been diagnosed by a mechanic through my insurance but I didn't want to have any work done by them because these evil wicked men wanted to change me $2,000 on parts alone and $1,000 in labor.
This is why I took it to Pep Boys and they told me that my 3 motor mounts were in bad shape and that these needed to be replaced so, I told them that I needed to tell the agent from the Better Business Beaure because he was trying to help me by speaking with the owner of the body shop called...TIRES BY EZ about them reimbursing my money which I paid $1863.00 to have the motor mounts replaced but the agent wasn't any good. He didn't do anything and that was a waste of time. I also found out that TIRES BY EZ charged me for 4 motor mounts when my vehicle only needed 3.
This is why I took to Pep Boys and they told me that the motor mounts were defective and that I needed to replace them again after already having paid $1863.00 to TIRES BY EZ in Palmdale. The owner of this business didn't want to replace the defective parts even though I have a 3 month warranty. When I told Pep Boys the story and them giving me the diagnostic, I asked the manager to write down what the diagnostic was and he did but the agent from the Better Business Beaure said that the diagnostic needed to be printed on the paper because the manager wrote by hand and when I requested to have printed together with how much it would cost me. The manager became upset and with a loud voice being upset said...."JUST TELL THE AGENT TO CALL ME" I didn't respond but I was upset because he didn't have to talk to me in that manner because I was only asking for favor but he didn't want to help me. Then I went back to Pep Boys a week after that incident and spoke with a black supervisor and made an appointment to take my vehicle on Wednesday 13th 2024. Then I received a phone call from Pep Boys and the black manager said that they didn't want to put their hands on my vehicle because if they messed up something else that they didn't want any problems with me. When this is not what this is not first had told me. They said that they had a technician and their was the one who told me that the motor mounts were defective from the first shop TIRES BY EZ and I asked him. Can you fix it? He said...."Yes, I can." I was so happy when he said that he could fix my vehicle but on Wednesday 13th is when the black supervisor called and told me that their technician couldn't do the work work any. I was upset because they first told they could and a couple of days they said it couldn't be done. These people do not have any honor or integrity. I thought that the people of Palmdale and Lancaster had honor and Integrity but these two cities are full of deceitful people. I hope to move from these cities someday soo. The LORD GOD ALMIGHTY saw everything that these evil wicked men had done to me and I know that the LORD GOD will punish them for their evil wicked deeds against me in JESUS MIGHTY name.
