I have been here several times before since moving to Lancaster, but I just got my tank, filled with propane and wanted to make a special note about the wonderful service that Daniel Ward provided me. He was fast and explained every single thing beautifully. He even put my oversized tank into my car for me. A+

Had a 9:30 appointment for wiring install on my jeep. Was told to be on time. Shows up 5 minutes before my appointment and they took a walk in ahead of me and I paid for overnight shipping and after 1 1/2 hours they tell me it can't be completed today I have to come back because they don't have proper connections.

Did everything on line the night before, as they say to avoid the line. They open at 7:00 and we arrived at 8:00 to find one person working, some manager talking on the phone, and a line out the door. We informed the worker we ordered on line and had our paperwork. Sorry wait in line. 40 minutes later another person comes on and we finally get waited on. Never again at this location. Bad customer service and a bad experience.

They will add extra miles if you are not careful. Take a photo of the dashboard when you take the car where it shows gas and milage. They also chaged $89 extra for 2.9 miles extra. Be aware.

I can't give a better review. I have worked with Marcus on three different occasions about installing and maintaining a trailer hitch on my SUV. He is not only more than friendly, but he goes over and above to figure out what needs to be done to resolve any issues. I'm in and out in an expedient manner.

Today I rented a uhaul from this facility... Customerservice was good. I got the small 10' box size because I had a small fridge and about a dozen small boxes. Driving it to the storage I noticed the steering wheel of off centered. But I figured they checked it out and everything was ok. Driving it to the storage to pick up items was ok because of the surface st... but once we loaded the truck and drove on the freeway it was a nightmare!!! The steering wheel started vibrating like crazy when picking up speed and going over 40 mph! Than the truck started pulling crazy and very hard to keep straight. Finally made it home called the center and they had a guy come out to look over the truck. He told me that I shouldn't drive it! But test told the roadside service it was ok to drive if I don't go over 40!!! So U-Haul wouldn't have the truck towed unless I paid for it!!! I told them that I do NOT FEEL SAFE in driving this vehicle!!! Yet they wouldn't send a tow truck! Than I spoke another person and she said after review that if they tow it I may have to pay for the tow!!! What this center gave rented me a faulty truck and I could be responsible for the tow!!! I have used U-Haul or over 20 years and never had a problem!!!! The mechanic said that the alignment was bad and somethings wrong with the steering!!! And this company wanted me to drive this truck!!! Added I had to go an extra 5 miles and take the surface on top of all this she said it has to be gassed up to what it was rented out!!! So they wanted me to drive an unsafe truck to gas it up too!!! WARNING to all!!! MAKE SURE IF YOU RENT FROM THIS COMPANY EVERYTHING IS OK!!! To top it all they called me at 6:30 had me on hold till 7 and I had to return this truck at 6:30!!! This has been a horrible experience! Made my day full of anxiety and frustration!!! Oh the mechanic drove the truck out of my driveway and stopped for a hike I front of the house below, cane back and said yeah something if definitely wrong!!! And. More I thought it isn't safe!!!

We reserved a truck online the day before only to show up at this location to find they didn't have the truck! After they ran around 15 minutes trying to find the truck, they realized it wasn't there. They had no other trucks to rent and made no effort to make up for our wasted time. They didn't even apolgize for screwing up. The manager was too busy on a phone call to even talk to us. They sent us to another U-Haul location, AAA Stor Stuff, that was great. However, we lost at least 30-minutes from our tight schedule because of their error. How do you lose a 20-foot moving truck!? Avoid U-Haul of East Lancaster.

Wasted a whole night and had a fast food late dinner because of this business. Appointment at 5pm for a hitch install. Dropped off car, rep says come back at 6:45 to get the car. Wife drove me 20 min. home As were exiting car at home, get a call saying they don't have time to install. Made appointment 10 days ago. F@#$@#$ this place. Demanded full refund.

This business has extremely poor customer service. We made an appointment to have a trailer hitch installed. My husband arrived for the appointment on-time, checked-in, and confirmed his appointment number. The front desk said he could leave the vehicle, and come back in 2 hours to pick it up. I pick him up 10 minutes later, we see the installer had just completed another hitch and left. We arrive at home 20 minutes later and receive a phone call to come pick up the vehicle or leave it over night because they don't have enough time to install the hitch. We were given excuses, and not even one appology. Apparently, it was our fault for using their scheduling center to make the appointment. We had to drive another 20 minutes and wait over an hour to get a refund. It took over 2 hours and wasted gas to get nothing done. The worst part was the no apology attitude and rudeness. Oh, and the manager is on vacation. I am sure he or she is always on vacation. There was also another customer having an issue who was in front of us in line.

I am very dissatisfied. First off the guy didnt even come out to check the truck before we left. While leaving the parking lot we noticed the gas light was on so went back in to tell him and he came out and said theyd been having problems with people stealing gas from the trucks so he changed the contract to where we could bring it back empty. Went straight to gas station and put 7 bucks in. Drove a couple miles and ran out of gas on side of road (we just figured it was super empty). Had someone bring me gas then put 45 in it at gas station. Drove another 17 miles, parked, and noticed the gas just pouring down the driveway. THEN noticed the hole drilled in the tank. Uhaul called roadside and picked up the truck. We didnt finish using it..only had it for about 3 hours but did not want another truck they offered. Just a refund. We put about 50 in gas and paid 69 for the truck. Jose, field manager, was such a dick and said he would only give us 30 back because (in his words) "it was obvious there was a problem with the gas you shouldnt have put more gas in it" WTF obvious???! So were calling corporate. This is b.s. and a serious safety issue. What if i had my daughter with me and it caught fire? Totally unacceptable. Theyre regular maintenance checks or policies should be followed properly or even more frequently due to this gas stealing problem.

Okay this was totally inside a smoke shop. Not what I was expecting. The location was really hard to find. But the owner was very nice and helped us get our truck.

I am so disappointed, we are moving in a day, we talked to Vanessa on Tuesday to rent a 5x9 trailer opened, we called yesterday for traps and tie downs, luckily we did this cause Danny looked up our reservation was set up for Monday October 1st for an in closed trailer, no we asked for pick up on Saturday 29th, we get a call from the scheduling department and we're told we get to drive to Pasadena again, remind you I was just there yesterday at that U-Haul to get our trailer hitch installed on our car, well now I get to drive again to the sane location to pick up the trailer!!! That's great I do not have 4 hours to travel today!!! Ugh Updated They did fix the issue the will go and pick up the trailer tomorrow for us!!! Thank you Danny and scheduling traffic lady!!!!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. The employees here are so rude. Each time I enter the office I am not greeted or I am waiting in front for an employee to even come to the front. The new manager (I think he was just promoted) is on a major power trip and needs to be trained on customer service. The employees talk about the customers amongst each other after the customer leaves. Yet, here I am sitting in front of them just trying to get things done. I've had to remind them I am sitting in front of them.
