FINALLY!!! A vet that I love and can trust ! I have been to many different vets and was never too crazy about them. I was starting to think that's just how vet offices are. But this place is different , their customer service and care is amazing . They treated my dog with so much care. I will be taking all 5 of my dogs here from now on .

We were in desperate need of help. No one would fit is in to help out cats. I gave them a call and they were able to fit us in. They looked at our cats needs and made a plan to help them out. Staff was amazing, helpful and very friendly. Thank you for your help!

I made an appointment for my dog who was having stomach issues and told them I thought it was Giardia as he had been exposed to a dog who was positive. They told us to come in at 4:30, so we left work early to make it there in time. When we got there they said they need to get a stool sample in order to test him. Well my dog didn't need to go to the bathroom during the visit, he went before we got there. Therefore he couldn't get the test done that night and we have to wait until tomorrow to drop off a stool sample and then possibly wait another day to get results. I really wish they could have mentioned what was going to be required before we arrived so we could have been prepared and maybe have brought a sample with us or not let him have gone to the bathroom before. It was a wasted trip and waste leaving work early.

The following is a LIE(Emergency services are available everyday. Please call 661-948-5911Referrals: A good network of local experts is available to us for second opinions. We don't hesitate to call specialists when the health of your pet is at stake.I called in an emergency and was told "sorry, you'll have to go elsewhere if you don't have an appointment". I had taken my dogs here for many years. NO MORE. You and your pets are better off if you go elsewhere.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HEREThis is the worst vet in the AV. They seem to be friendly but in reality are cruel, mean, unprofessional and nasty. The vets act like don't real care about your animal and are only out to get money. The faculty is in a bad location and is filthy inside and out. The workers treat your pet roughly and without a care. PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR ANIMAL

First off they have signs everywhere posted in front of their office stating 1 person with a face covering is allowed back with your pet. Then you get there and they say “due to recent outbreaks” no one is allowed back? But all the signs say 1 person is allowed even when you call 1 person.... so they then want to just take your pet? They need more clarification and more pleasant staff. They were rude, and were not answering any questions about the signs? I’m very confused as to who would just send their animal back without wanting to go with them? Do not recommend, will find a better office of my dog whom the tech also asked”will he bite my face off” because he’s a “pit” so unprofessional and rude.

I just moved to the area, and my cat was having a emergency issue. They got me in immediately and took great care of him.

A few years back, I was recommended to Sears from a friend. My mini poodle, Jack, had been regularly seeing another local vet for checkups, dental work, shots and a cough he had for years. That vet prescribed Benadryl for the cough and insisted that was the only thing wrong. Well, the cough got worse and Jack was my baby and even though he was 11, I had raised him from 5 weeks old. Dr. Cheema was a godsend! He found out Jack had a collapsed trachea and other ailments from old age and immediately started treating him. The odds were against Jack but with Dr. Cheema's care, he lived on for years to come. Late last year, we moved out of state and we knew it was going to be hard on Jack. Dr. Cheema saw Jack one last time and gave us great advice. It was hard leaving his practice because he's such a compassionate, knowledgeable vet. Jack passed away within 2 months of our move at almost 16 years old. I truly believe Dr. Cheema prolonged his life and we were blessed to have that time together. He understood our concerns as owners and Jack's needs and always advised us appropriately. Dr. Cheema truly cares for his patients and his patients' parents. I believe he's the BEST vet in the AV and I can't thank him enough for taking such great care of Jack! I have to add that his staff is absolutely wonderful! They're just as kind and professional as Dr. Cheema. They assist him well and help guide you through the treatments, expenses, etc. You always feel welcome and listened to. I have to thank them as well for being so sweet to Jack and us. So don't go to just any vet thinking your furry child will get treated properly. If your fur baby means the world to you, go to Sears Veterinary and see Dr. Cheema.

My husband and I switched over to this veterinary hospital about 3 years and will never go back to any other place. The doctors and staff are all so friendly and caring, we've had several last minute emergency situations come up and they always find a way to squeeze us in. We couldn't recommend this place more. It's a little pricey compared to other places but in our opinion the care they provide is completely worth it.

Had to add that I admire Dr Chema for always taking the time to offer advice and make suggestions for ways to help improve my dogs quality of life. With my accident prone dog it really helps

This place is terrible. Under new management Don't believe anything they tell you. They lie to get you to go into their clinic then change their story. I verified 2 times on the phone. They claim they never said anything. And they are expensive. They recommended services my pet did not need. Go to other vets in the area this place sucks.
