Ugh! No more! Can't use self-checkout anymore. We only had a few items, which we picked up right away and got in line. 40 MINUTES!!! --from time we entered until we left. Two lines had light off and we were told closed but yet other people were allowed to enter line and check out. Bullshit! Lines just ridiculously long with 3 registers with lights on. Cashier told us theft had doubled since the self checkouts were installed. Considering the area and demographics, what did Walmart think was going to happen?!!! A local politician was caught stealing from here. Watch people just walk out with things without going through register. Have seen the theft at the registers. Also, given demographics, how many employees are stealing?!!! And the honest customers get screwed in all this.

If you lock up half of the store and don't have anyone respond to the call for service then don't expect to sell anything. I've waited on average 15mins for someone to open a locked cabinets. There is no reason to lock up $4 items

Terrible service. Everything locked up with no workers to help. Better off staying home and ordering from Amazon. Life is too short for this kind of hassle!

The worst of them all!!!! Wait forever for someone to unlock case .The employee stands around talking to the their coworker as they look at you before opening it. The best part is a shelf stocked wrong and manager will honor only one at the price listed. She told me to read the Walmart policy. It mentions online and nothing about an inaccurately stocked shelf.

Once again, but at a different Walmart, use the call button for assistance in the Automotive accessories aisle and waited for ten minutes with no response from any of the dozen associates walking by. I held the button down steady for another three minutes, didn't make one bit of difference. I finally walked away not getting the much needed $18 Cell phone holder for my Tahoe. Stop locking so much crap behind glass if you're not going to make it a priority for your team members to respond in a timely manner. It's disgusting how little, whoever the call is received by, gives a crap about good customer service! Saving grace today was the super sized Peeps!

No One To Unlock Cabinets! I understand the need to lock a lot of items up, what I don't see are people to come and unlock the cabinets! Case in point, a $15 dog collar locked up, I push the button and waited,! And waited! And waited! And waited! After about 1015 minutes, it got to be a matter of seeing how long it would take. About every 5 to 10 minutes, I would push that button, mainly just to see if anyone was ever going to come! 52 minutes later, I started laying on the buzzer! A nasty attitude Karen came up and rudely said 'You only need to push the button Once!' My response, 'I did! Almost an hour ago!' I let her open the cabinet before turning and walking away! Almost an hour to get the cabinet opened? Wow! Walk to the front, 2 cashiers with lines of 20-30 people! Self checkout? Lines past deli counter! It would have been almost 2 hours for 1 item! Went to PetSmart! Collars not locked, grabbed the one I wanted, cashed out by an Actual, Pleasant cashier and out the door in less than 6 minutes! Saving a few Pennie's in Walmart is not worth the hours of your life you will never get back! Shop where they don't make you feel like a thief!!

I was debating on whether to do 2 or 3 stars. They do have a decent selection here and I would say the staff is friendly. But where the problem lies is with their credit card machines. They have the worst credit card machines- you would think they would be up to date with technology being that Walmart is so huge. I had a big purchase to make and no matter what register I used (or whether I used the chip or swiped), it couldn't read my card. I have just a regular Mastercard. Multiple employees got involved and sent me to multiple different registers. It was a waste of time and it was also irritating moving all over the place. I used my Mastercard at Target earlier in the day and I also used it after I left Walmart. I hope they get their machines fixed so it makes it easier for people to shop there!

The T-shirt's are locked up now? First it was deodorant, then alcohol, then lego and now graphic T-shirt's? You can't tell what most of them are the way they are stacked either. Did I really need to hunt for an employee because there is no button, deal with her attitude because I politely interrupted her stocking, and have her walk behind me all the way to the register holding my AC/DC T-shirt? That's as ridiculous as the 20-30 minutes I wait EVERY time that I want to buy alcohol or a Lego set for my son. You are locking up things to protect them but really you are locking them up and people will just go shop elsewhere. That's what I'll be doing from now on.

Today I went to buy a bike for my grandson and i waited over an hour for someone to assist me. After repeatedly asking for assistance from several associates to call the person that unlocks the bicycles. I finally got help from Antonio when I asked for a manager. The manager gave me a 10% discount for the wait, but that really doesn't fix how they made me feel as a customer of being totally ignored and unvalued. Let alone I am a disabled person. They did not even pick up the phone when I called them within the store. It's really sad what if I was having a medical emergency I would have just sat there. SMH Walmart Do Better!

Honestly I HATE coming to this store. It's dirty and everything. I mean everything is locked up (chapstick, kids Tylenol, nose Fridas) I only come here if I have to for a quick run. The beef they sell is low fat and good for my dogs dinners. Sometimes I find good deals on the clothes as they have indeed stocked up on better quality clothing however best of luck finding the sizes between 4t5t as they are always sold out.

Asked 3 different associates for help finding a hooded sweatshirt. The first one just said they didn't know and walked away. The second said they didn't know but took a minute to try and find someone who would know. Then the third (the one the second associate took me to) just pointed and said in the back. Very descriptive, like I didn't already check the clothing department before asking for help. Waited in the self checkout like for about 15 minutes while only 2 isles manned with cashiers were open. 0/5 will not come back.

Apparently you cannot exchange or return an item bought from another store twenty miles away. Been two days with receipt and credit card used to purchase a carbon monoxide detector sealed. They would not do the return. Called customer service and they said they should even with a case number she wouldn't. They said it's the policy they can't return items from Walmart. She had to take a picture of the receipt before the return so she wouldn't get in trouble. Are you serious??

Been living in Lancaster for over thirty years and been going to Walmart for just as long ...until now! I've had it with all the locked displays. Many items can't be taken from the shelves, so we have to find a store employee who has a key ...and that's the next problem. A simple, quick in-and-out purchase turns into a (at least) triple the time ordeal, that is IF you can find an employee. I've confronted the manager on two different occasions due to not being able to find a employee with a key and then I asked "what's the sense in having a guard/security/check-out employee at the doors when you have everything locked up??" She had no answer ...she merely shrugged her shoulders. Burlington and Target and Ross and Home Depot and Pennys will now get my business.

So I came to Walmart to grab a cord from electronics. I am a regular at this location. But the level of unprofessional service and discrimination I was showed was quite disgusting. First, I was the first and the only person in the dept. There was no employee around. I waited 5 mins before I saw someone and they guy was like it's not my dept. But will get some to help me. After 10mins, a lady came out the back and told ignored me and started helping a white couple who was getting an iPad. Then she said I'll be with you in a second. She then disappeared for about 15mins and came back. She helped another lady who happen to be white as well. She was very nice while helping the other people, but acted like she didn't want to help. She was a heavy set woman in the electronic dept. I don't know if she was having a bad day or just didn't want to help me because I was black. I will make sure the next time I'm there to get her name.
