After moving to the Quartz Hill area, I needed to find a new Veterinary office for my dog. I found this one and was excited about how close it is to my home. I called to inquire about pricing and make an appointment. The receptionist I spoke to was very rude and I will not be giving them my business.

Hands down the best vet we have ever been to. Elderly Asian man owns and runs the place. He is a bit old school in his tactics but that makes him more connected with you and your pet. Some might find him too straight forward. Kinda no filter. But I like that. Tell me how it is. Be straight with me. There's definitely no beating around the bush with this guy. We have had two of our dogs fixed by him, our litter of puppies vaccinated by him and a few other things in between. His prices are super low compared to any other vet on the planet. And instead of waiting for hours for simple things he treats the pups right there with you in the room. We couldn't be more happy with him. We highly recommend coming here for any animal needs!

I went to this guy 3 times, and I'm done with him. He did not know how to draw a blood sample from my dog, but I let that go. He prescribed some meds for my dog, and charged me $85 for the bottle. I found the EXACT same meds online for $25, but when the company called this vet, he didn't answer, and never replied to their email. I called him and got a message that his voicemail was full. I drove to his office this afternoon to ask him about the meds. I got there at 4:00, and met him in the parking lot. "Can I get some meds for my dog?" I asked. He replied, "I'm closed. Come back tomorrow." Really? He can't open the door, get me what I need, and save me a drive back? And, by the way, his website says he's open until 4:30. I simple told him I would find someone else. He just nodded. Learn from my mistake and just go somewhere else to start out with. This guy obviously doesn't really care.

The vet is very knowledgeable and to the point. Some people say he is rude he is absolutely not he is I think sometimes preoccupied with what he is doing especially because he is by himself. The price is also very fair compared with what's around especially the quartz hill vet one.I feel comfortable bringing my pet there. Thanks

I took my Black Lab here and boy was I surprised! This Vet has no compassion and no bedside manner towards the pet or the pet parent. I took my boy in for severe allergies. The Vet proceeded to tell me that it looked like I "dumped" my dog in my backyard and neglected him! That was the furthest from the truth. My dogs are INDOOR dogs with access to a doggie door. They are extremely well cared for and if I didn't do anything but "dump" my dog in my backyard and neglect him, I wouldn't be at the Vet trying to find out how to help him with his allergies. Stay away from here!!! Go across the street to Quartz Hill Veterinary. They are absolutely wonderful!!! BTW: I paid for everything the Vet at Westside Animal Hospital wanted to do for my dog, and it helped for all of 1 week!

We just left the place after the worst experience ever with a vet. We arrived at 12:45 for a 1:00 appointment and the vet immediately said "We're closed". After reminding him we had a 1:00 appointment, the vet decided to have us wait in the waiting room. The vet approached our dog without trying to greet him and he approached without using any patience or care. Our dog is super friendly but the vets approach caused our dog to bark, not a viscous bark, and our dog didn't even move toward the vet, and he was on a leash, but he did bark. The vet immediately tensed up, drew back his his fist, and started angrily scolding our dog in another language. I was shocked that the vet would posture himself in such an aggressive manner. I ended up walking out of that place without having him touch my dog because it is evident this vet is horrible with animals. I think he is in the wrong profession.

Look at all the low ratings and its the same story. I think he believe all problems are the same. My dog had internal bleeding But I was dismissed and made to feel like I didn't know my dog. The dr didn't listen to my concerns. Basically he said we were feeding him things he shouldn't eat and his tummy bloating was causing his hip dysplasia (Jake did not have hip dysplasia), that my dog was overweight. Yes he was overweight because he wasn't pooping and had internal bleeding. We did not over feed our dog. He did not listen. I was told to give the meds a chance to work. In less than 24 hrs he passed. Sure I saved money, no bloodwork, no xrays, no real diagnosis. Walked out paying $160 (the consult was $60 and most vets are less) but this dog was only 6! And belonged to My son who passed. I wasn't looking to save money! I was looking for my dog to be saved!!! When I called the next day to explain that he was worst he again dismissed me again. Did not listen to my description of what was going on. Just told me to bring him in! My dog was dying, I couldn't carry him , I called his other vet that could not see him because they were slammed, the original time and this time as well. They referred me to another place, called ahead, they were slammed but did what they could to help me. When I got to the new place they rushed us back and did all they could. I'm beyond devasted. Heart broken, furious.....

Excellent one on one care. Dr Hagos is super knowledgeable. He knew all about my Rhodesian ridgeback the moment I walked in. He's affordable and cares.

I took my dogs to Dr. Coco to be put down as they are old and one had an open wound on a tumor on her foot and I didn't want her to have to go through surgery and recovery at her advanced age. Dr. Coco gave me another option. He said he could remove the tumor and she would recover. He was right!! He saved the lives of both of my elderly German Shepherds and gave them pain meds to help them with their arthritis! I will forever be in debt to him for all of his help.

Great vet..simple basic clinic but that means you save money. He helped me figure out treatment for my dog who has an allergy. He said to isolate him from the rest of the house and let him outside only as needed but he could run an allergy test for environmental allergies which would several hundred dollars..he said I think if u isolate him you can figure it out. Charged me for the medications he needed and walked out with a $300 bill but when I researched it. He didn't do anything extra my dog didn't need. My dog is already itchy less and not biting his paws. The vet educated me in things related to food allergies and such since do asked about food and he really thinks it's not a food allergy. He educated me on allergies, dermatitis and food allergies. He takes his time and will answer all questions.

The vet was great to my cat and me. Didn't try to take all my money or play on my heart string. I would come back. Very happy with the service I received. You need small car to park and drive through the awkward space.

This vet is great! He isn't trying to drain his clients financially. He is honest and is very knowledgeable. He let's you know exactly what is wrong with your pet. I sent my mom and her pet here also. I highly recommend making him your vet if he isn't already.

Very carrying, very helpful, Informative Veterinarian. He works well with all of my animals (2 cats and 2 dogs) Dr. Hagos Tells me exactly what vaccines (if necessary) my pets need and has never tried to tell me to do anything extra/not needed for my pets, I feel like he cares for my animals and doesn't want to fool me into uneccessary procedures/vaccines. I have gone to other vets in the area that ask for insane amounts of $$ for procedures that I believe are not necessary. I will always take my animals to Dr. Hagos from now on!
