This shop is by far the best shop I have ever been too!!! After my car broke down on my way here to California, I was looking everywhere for a shop I could take it to to get it fixed. Everyone was booked way out and didn't have the time to take in an emergency fix. When I called the Shaft Shop, Mike was so kind and willing to take a look and see what he could do and figure out. I am so grateful for the kindness and attention to detail that he had when fixing up my little Fiat!! I will never take my car to anyone else ever again. The shaft shop has found a forever customer with me and my family!!! Thank you so much!!! You guys are awesome!

I ordered a windshield with this company and it was never installed mind u I payed for my part up front then at first attempt of install I paid for instillation . But they are flaky and I had to ask for a refund this shop is a joke

The quality control at this business is not good. I took my drive shaft there to be refurbished and was told it would be just like new after the work was complete. The owner installed the wrong bearings. Claimed the other shaft got my expensive parts and I got his cheap parts. Hmmmmm I wonder how many vintage drive shafts came in that day?? Took it back for the correct ones. I requested the part be wired brushed to remove dirt build up so it would look like 'new'. That never happened so I'll do it myself. I told him not to paint the part...I'll do it myself. The Shaft shop effort was not worth the $375 I paid.

We brought a classic car to get some much needed work done. While we had agreed on a set price (everything included), the price kept increasing because of supplemental work, which was already an issue. After several months of waiting, the car could not be completed, so we finally agreed on a price. Most damaging of all, the car lost a wheel on the drive back. Having almost caused a collision on a packed intersection was stressful to say the least, though luckily no one was injured. When asked about it, the shop insisted they did not touch the wheels, and refused to pay for damages. Glad others have gotten better service here, but it's a hard pass for me.

Would not recommend to anyone...owner is a liar and a crook...stole half of my parts and destroyed my original paint on my classic vehicle...have never been so unhappy with a so called professional providing a service...he refuses to give my parts back and says everything is there...but an intake manifold and alternator ...water pump and pullies are hard to miss...and my new spark plug wires ect....very unprofessional....mike yarmin mas a good man...mike Shaughnessy who took it over is not...beware...

This was my first time here. My truck had a terrible vibration, It was a driveshaft problem, they did a fantastic job fixing it! It's smooth is better now. They are very friendly, professional, reasonable prices and they get it done when they say it's going to be done. Now they have a lifelong customer because I will be back.

Rick D These guys are very professional and do quality work. I had to have the rear end replaced on my 2005 Trailblazer. The only problem, and its not their fault, is parts delivery takes some time due to Covid. They completed the job and even delivered it back to me at home since I didn't have transportation to get it that day. Highly recommend The Shaft Shop.

It's always great to find a shop that you've taken your car to and afterwards have experienced some things that still weren't quite right. IT happens. However, most shops I've dealt with in the past, always give excuses and I've ended up paying for work already paid for. I want to give a shout out to this shop because, they stand behind their work, no matter what. I'm the kind of person who, doesn't argue, threaten lawsuits, etc. If I'm wronged, I just move on. But here, you can bet that the owner really cares about his customers and that, in these days is rare. So if you have a hot rod and need work done, don't hesitate to visit this shop. Darryl Herzon

I have a 2004 Kia Sorento ex 2wd. My drive shaft went completely south. The guys at T&C auto repair ripped me off for $275 and didn't fix the shaft. So I bought the center mount bearing and decided to do it myself. Having the knowledge lacking tools I got stuck on job. Guys at Napa parts refered me to Mike(owner) shaft shop. He immediately told me what I needed & what needed to be done. I'm currently homeless, and don't have much $. mike not only installed the center mount bearing on, replaced universal joint, balanced drive shaft, (a $400) job. He didn't have to help me, instead he saved me from a possible life disaster. He only charged me $100 including labor. Who does that? Mike from shaft shop. If you have drivetrain problem, shaft shop is the answer. Mike you are (what is right about this crazy life). I love you bro. Thanks so much for not turning away from my car emergency. You deserve 6 stars.

I hope one day the owner Mike will learn to respect himself so that he can respect people who are giving him business and care about the work he does. We had to take our vehicle back 3 times because there kept being issue with the breaks. 1st time barely made it down the street and had to turn around. This last time he was to bring our vehicle back to our home. Well Wednesday passed, that's didn't happen so it was set up for Thursday. My husband is calling Thursday to reconfirm the time when Mike states he can't get to it. Besides the numerous amount of times we had to call when we had to get our car there again, mind you we had to arrange a tow because we could it drive it, this guy then flakes on his agreement. He should have arranged the tow, have some common sense and courtesy. He's put us in a bind so often with having to arrange pick ups and drop offs. While driving my daughters on the way to a car show and my husband following on our motorcycle, the car the breaks went out and we got stranded on the highway. I can't imagine this guy being any type of family man, definitely NOT a stand up dude for sure. You can never get a hold of him on the phone, he is rarely at the shop and his communication is pathetic. I'd be ever embarrassed of myself if I did something like this to a family who gave me business. At least make it right somehow, throw in a gas card when we go aaaaagain for pick up after you flake on us.

Mike and his team are super awesome they worked on my 57 Bel Air and he got the car back to me on the day and time he said he would which don't happen often! He didn't tell me a bunch of bs just to rip me off either so if you live in the AV or can get your car out here please hit him up!!! This will be the only person who touches my baby!!!

I was recommended to the shaft shop from Tony at AV transmission. They balanced my driveshaft on my 2006 Dodge 2500 and it hasn't run that smooth in years. They fixed the problem fast and even went the extra mile to fix a bad ground wire that they found on my truck really appreciate their service.

Where to start... Mike, the owner, is a true car professional. And continued looking for the best parts for my truck at a very reasonable price. Initially, he came to my house to look at my 71 Ford F100, since then I just let him take the reins and he with his outstanding team did a phenomenal job restoring my truck. They understood the sentimental value that my family and I have in the vehicle and as they considered our wants and needs they produced a beautiful product. I am happy with my decision and the end result. Danny is a mechanical wizard and long time friend that took extra care of the electrical wiring which I greatly appreciate. Awesome dude! To top the cake, Brett, an employee there, washed and did a final polish right before I pulled out of the lot. Felt like I was pulling it off the lot for the first time! Thanks boys!!! I will send my family and friends to them with out a doubt in my mind. -Hardcastle Family
