“Absolutely beautiful gifts, tablecloth designs, bowls & plates; very tasteful Mediterranean patterns. This place is just like the gift shops we visited in France, Italy and Greece.
Love this place; A+++”

“Very kind, thoughtful owner. We didn't end up using his services because we wanted our antique table disassembled for storage instead of restored (ultimately didn't make sense to do) but he spent a good 10 minutes brainstorming how best to store our table even after we declined his work.”

“This family own business is wonderful. Both the mother and the daughter, Sonam and Pachen, make you feel at home and appreciated. They are kind and generous and loving.

They bring beautiful energy into their shop and it’s always so joyful to be there.

The crystals are amazing I buy all my crystals from them.

They also sell beautiful charm bracelets. They allow you to take your time and pick what you want and they put the bracelets together for you I bought them for my three granddaughters. They loved the bracelets as well as Sonam and Pachen.

If you’re in San Francisco, and you want to treat yourself, buy someone a gift or just have a wonderful experience, I highly recommend you go to Tibetan Golden Lotus!”

“We just picked up our freshly reupholstered side chairs. They were seriously used as scratching posts by our cats and Heidi did a marvelous job reviving them. They have huge sentimental value to me arriving from Sweden in 1980 with me. Heidi guided us among the variety of materials that "may" hold up to cat abuse but still look nice, she also put on a protective and removeable layer in front where cats tend to concentrate their work. Chairs were completed in good time and for a reasonable price.”

“Cute shop, affordable clothes. Lots of options for souvenirs. I was disappointed not to find a tiny mug option. They only have large and espresso size but nothing in the middle or a smaller mug that is not medium size. Hard to fly with a huge mug and hard to drink a small cup of tea/coffee in a shot glasses size mug.”

“I went here on Saturday and had a fabulous time getting lost in all the cool stuff they have. The staff were so friendly and helpful! The store is really merchandised well so that I could see everything that the many merchants have! Great bargains”

“This was my second visit to Venezia and interacting with Barak and his staff. I returned after five years, as I was truly impressed with my first visit and purchase of a jade dragon during 2018. I live on the east coast so visiting Venezia in San Francisco is a destination place. I am always amazed by my experience in the galleries and overwhelmed with the quality and quantity of all of their art pieces. Barak has been blessed with a family legacy and he has chosen to bless me as well with his flexibility and generosity, seldom seen with business owners. He has made it possible for me to own art and furniture I could not have imagined. I feel we share a bond and wish him ongoing success with his business endeavors and his personal life. It may be his gift for sharing the feeling of being kindred spirits.”

“Fun shop with a good variety of different items and collectables. They sell all kinds of touristy items as well as some nicer pieces. Prices seem to be a bit lower than some other shops in the area. They have a good incense selection with some types I haven't seen elsewhere.”

“Susan has the best collection of heirloom toys and a myriad of treasures that are unforgettable, unbelievable and magical, just like she is! The best store I have visited in my life, must see to believe.....”

“Please note that the brick and mortar location is no longer a gallery. The owner has moved the gallery contents to his apartment up the street, which can be viewed by appointment. I was lucky enough to call and catch him while he was in to view his amazing collection. I was thoroughly impressed by his array of strange objects and curios. I do wish that he would open a better website (most of the photos on the current website are inoperable) - something on Instagram, Chairish, or 1st Dibs would really expand his clientele and make it more accessible. *UPDATE: The website works better on a computer browser than on a cell phone!*”

“First time coming in here and was pleasantly surprised with the selection and prices. Staff were nice and helpful. Couldn't believe they were selling brand new ASICS and Brooks running shoes for $32. Tags still on. What a find, had to get a pair. Thank you!”

“The store is aptly named! My daughter and I enjoyed our wanderings through this shop of curious treasures. When I asked the store owner how he came by his collection he explained that he was a just a bend in the river and things found their way to him. If you have the time to peak into the nooks and crannies of this intriguing store you are likely to find a hidden gem!”

“Tons of trinkets of all sizes, shapes, colors, and purposes. Not all are Chinese-specific, as there appeared to be several representations from Japan, Korea, and likely other East Asian regions. And, of course, a lot of the items were Americanized in some way. Fun to walk through!”

“This was my first time buying at an auction and it was a great experience. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They explained how the bidding and estimates worked, and made me feel welcome. I had a great day and won a few items. I'm very pleased with my purchases. They even helped load them in my car around the corner. I'll be back!”
