“I cannot say enough amazing things about Sylvia at Alterations Avenue! My wedding dress looks absolutely incredible thanks to her work. I had a very intricate, all-lace gown that needed difficult adjustments, and she was extremely detailed in finding the best solutions to make it fit perfectly.

Sylvia took the time to really study the dress and explain what was possible, and every suggestion she made was thoughtful and precise. We communicated back and forth throughout the process, and she was always responsive and reassuring. I could truly tell she cared about making my dress perfect for my big day.

“I had the best experience working with Mary at Bridal Breeze! I went into the store not sure if what I was looking for even existed, and I found one that was perfect (plus several others that were also beautiful, just not exactly what I wanted). I think the store has fewer dresses that some of the other stores I went to, but they were all perfectly curated, so I was trying on one beautiful dress after another! They also post their entire inventory online, which was really useful for me beforehand, as I was trying to decide whether it was worth the drive from the south bay all the way up to the city. It definitely definitely was! They do not do alterations, but they have a few tailors who they recommend. I've heard horror stories about other shops ordering dresses multiple sizes too big so they can gouge you on alterations, so I'm happy to have avoided that conflict of interest. My dress pretty much fits, just needs some minor adjustments. Do note that the store is very small, so they can only handle one bride at a time. Definitely make an appointment before you go.”

Bc of my time frame I chose from dresses that were already in house. I was still given plenty of options to choose from and found a dress that I was able to order in a different color and size, to fit the them of the wedding party. “I had an incredible experience at the Bridal Galleria this past Saturday! I visited 4 bridal gown stores that weekend. The Bridal Galleria was #2. Parking was very easy. Out of all the stores, this one had the best lighting and mirror. Haily was my helper. She was very easy to connect with, understood what was important to me and my crew very quickly, and grabbed all the right dresses that were all within the right ballpark. Beyond just clipping me in, she helped me in and out of the dresses, grabbed veils, had me hold a bouquet so I could see the whole picture, and made sure I tried on the sample gown. She really went above and beyond. I almost left with the most stunning Berta gown 50% off. I also specifically requested to try the Alexandra from monique lhuillier. They didn't immediately have it so they made sure to get it for me in time for my visit. They didn't pressure me at all and let me sleep on the decision, reassuring me that I could always email them to secure the dress later. I'm so grateful for this experience and how wonderfully they treated me, my family, and my friends.”

Ended up getting my dress (I specifically wanted silk) from another shop but they have the best sample sale dresses, with a lot of sizes (not just size 8, I am a 2/4). Fell in love with a Carolina Herrera dress in amazing condition at an unbeatable price, and it was an almost perfect fit

“Misia and Sue ARE LITERALLY LIFE SAVERS!!! It was the night before my wedding and as I was steaming my dress, I found a little bit of a loose thread/rip in the front of my dress and they were about to close but were SO sweet and told me to come on by. LITERALLY ANGELS!!

And when I say they saved me, I mean, they SAVED ME!! Cause I needed to be at city hall by 8am the next morning. Then Sue found that other pieces in the front (similar to what had broken) that literally were also needing to be re-enforced or else it would happen all over again.

Also, my veil was completely wrinkled from my flight over here and they also took care of that for me as well!

While I waited, I learned about their hand detailing and process. Misia went into detail about the care they take with EACH dress and I just couldn't believe how meticulous they can be!

The place can be a little hard to find but they're nestled between Frascati and Luxe Places International Realty.

I highly recommend them, especially for their superb attention to detail. I wish I lived in San Francisco to have dresses done by them. Actually I might come back because they are starting to do custom wardrobe and if I had more time in SF, I wish I could shop.
