The Lark Theater is a wonderful independent non-profit theater and a true gem in downtown Larkspur. It is considered the best in the Bay Area, showing art-house films, classics, culturally significant films, and event cinema like National Theater Live. It also presents occasional live shows on its small stage. The venue is squeaky-clean and newly remodeled, with comfortable seats, terrific concessions, and fantastic sound. The welcoming and kind staff are part of the volunteer effort that keeps this local theater alive. Its location in the wonderful small town makes for a chill night out, with nearby shops and restaurants. The theater offers early Bird specials with free popcorn and deserves all the patronage it can get.

A lovely old cinema house, well-maintained, showing an excellent selection of films, in a charming Larkspur. Ample free public parking across the street, a fun variety of adjacent shops and restaurants.
