“We had to wait to be seated despite there were empty seats. That puzzled us as it seemed to be something to keep the restaurant less busy for the waiters. The food and the atmosphere were really good, so we ended up having a very good time.”

“This market is one of the best deli/grocery /produce markets that I have ever come across! I live in the area and I will go only to this market because of the deli sandwiches hands down #1 and they offer whatever you would like on it and they make it very special and specific. The quality is priceless and the flavors are amazing. I have been coming here for more than 15 years and I'm always blown away of the service/quality and the items they offer in their store. Their location is perfect because they are always on the way to where you need to go, whether to the airport or just around town, it's so convenient. I recently have been there at least 4 times during the week to bring food to the nearby hospital CPMC for my family members visiting from France and locally and their experience was off the charts. Rutily's market is the place to go for everything you need.”

“Lovely meal last night! Dishes were creative, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Wine list and guidance were terrific complements. Ambience was relaxing. Service was wonderfully personable and prompt. The only (good) problem - the diverse menu presented too many alluring choices for one dinner, so we will be back for sure. Thank you for a terrific dinner!”

“I've been to Occidental a couple of times now, and it has quickly become the place for my friends and I to get a great drink and smoke a cigar after work; even the ones who don't smoke! The selection of cigars is fantastic and the owners mix up an excellent Manhattan. The ambience and decor of the joint is what you would expect from such an establishment and will not disappoint. Most important however, the owners make cigar smoking accessible to newer folks, and the clientele is probably the most diverse your going to find in a bar around the FiDi.I would absolutely recommend the Occidental to anyone looking to smoke a cigar and have a drink in SF.”

“I came to San Francisco on holiday from the UK as part of a road trip few days, and seeing as this was one of the few convenience stores near my hotel, I went to check it out. Was not disappointed.Really friendly staff, the lady Morning was such a sweetheart, always loved seeing and chatting with her. A great selection of food and drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and great tasting sandwiches.5 stars from me, I absolutely have to visit again the next time i'm in San Francisco ✌️”

“Well first of all this is the best WM I've been to, it's obvious why! WINE BAR in store with up to 3 FREE tastings!!!!! Not only that they carry some of my go to faves from Amador County! Sobon & Shenandoah and Michael David 6th Sense Syrah from Lodi! Amongst many others, and the prices are fair and competitive with my Sonoma County staple #BottleBarn. Re-navigating Marin and making new discoveries”

“Visited San Francisco in June and didn't realize that's one of the coldest months to go. We went here everyday to get clam chowder and sourdough. Fantastic food. Lines were huge and a lot of the workers do not speak English so you really have to know how to maneuver through this. Coffee kind of blah.”

“Me and my partner love this place the boba is great and so are the snack foods. The only issue I have is the last time we went which wasn't that long ago less than a month I'd say and we booked a 90 minute time window and we were able to do the course multiple times. But this time when we tried to do another round because we had an hour left in our time window we were told that it would be extra to do another round. I'm fine with that if it was advertised like that, instead of allowing us to book a 90 minute window instead maybe say "1 round that may take up to 90 minutes" or something along those lines. Other than that amazing place to have fun.”

“This is a good lunch spot for FiDi. Sandwiches are $12.50-$14. Salads are $10-$11. Prices on their website are outdated. My sandwich , the LLB special $12.50 was roast beef, turkey, ham, swiss, provolone on dutch crunch, was alright. The New England Clam Chowder $8.50 was chunky and not filled all the way up. That tasted OK as well. Friendly service for a counter style restaurant. Kitchen was fast taking account they were busy. I was pretty full afterwards.”

“OMG! This is my favorite place to stop for snacks, beverages, desserts and SANDWICHES! I ordered the Skinny Jeans Sandwich on Wheat and this was absolutely perfect. It was literally THE BEST sandwich I've ever had! It was amazing and I would come back again for another one! The store is well stocked, lots of options for customers and very good customer service. Get all the items you need here! Street parking usually easy to find.”

“I love this bodega because not only is it thoughtfully stocked, curated, & decorated (their paintings outside & plants are thoughtful + beautiful) — but the family who owns & runs it is lovely too. I highly recommend shopping here.”

“Love looking for new places to try, especially when traveling. Provided options to my SIL for her bday dinner and this is what she opted for. We ordered an assortment: beer battered onion rings, ceaser salad, kale salad, clam chowder, mustache pizza and shrimp scampi pasta. We enjoyed everything (no leftovers). We ordered dessert: tiramisu and chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream. It takes about 15 minutes for the cookie as they make it fresh in a cast iron pan so it's served nice and warm. Cute place and great ambiance.”

“Cute little market. It has everything you need and want and the candy section is phenomenal!! Haha. I hadn't had candy during my stay in Pt. Reyes (two weeks) until I decided to stop here. The owner was very kind and even chatted with me about his mutual love for candy. HeheThere's a market in Pt. Reyes station, but that can be far if you're already going up to the Northernmost part of the peninsula (or coming back). It's also very busy there.”

“One of the best coffee destinations in Southern Marin. I just wish the café were open longer hours. The sandwiches from the deli are also excellent. I especially like the Italian. The owner is often around and is incredibly friendly and helpful. It just has a really nice warm vibe and is a wonderful place to sit on a Sunday morning rain or shine.”

“This is the cutest grocery store that combines local and gourmet goods. We popped in here after a hike and were on the hunt for lunch. We got one sandwich and some chili. Everything was pretty good, but not amazing (3-4 stars for the food), but we ended up doing some grocery shopping as well and that was 5 star quality. They have a great butcher and fresh veg. To note they have a fair amount of outdoor seating, however, it was raining so we had a car picnic!”

“This is one of the few dining venues near the Palace of Fine Arts and it’s a very good one. The farm to table vegetables accompanying my salmon were outstanding. The salmon was also great. The location right on the edge of the Presidio has lovely grounds and the building interior has a modern minimalist aesthetic. On the Saturday evening we went it wasn’t too crowded and service was prompt. So if you’re going to a performance at PoFA and only want to park once this is a great dining option before your show.”

“This liquor store is a market with lots of variety. It has a good selection of non-alcoholic beverages like juice. It's a fun place to explore and see what they have just in case you don't want to go to the grocery.”

“Best kept secret in Kentfield / Larkspur! Zee’s sandwiches are incredible, delicious, outstanding, out of this world! Also with their prices?! The best!! I love a personalized sandwich, but their French dip is soooo good. Their breakfast sandwiches are also really yummy. Service is friendly and wholesome, great selection of candy and chips, also A+ beer selection. Love this spot. I’ll never get sandwiches from Woodlands or Mollie Stones ever again!!!”

“What a wonderful little bodega! They have so many products to cook authentic Spanish meals - complete with cooking and serving wear you'd find in most bars and restaurants across Spain. I didn't have time to browse the wine selection but they seemed to have a great variety. It's also a great store for to put together a white elephant gift basket...I'll be back soon!”

“Fantastic olive oil and vinegar! My roommate and I picked up the white truffle olive oil and date balsamic vinegar and we love it! Its like liquid gold! Rex was fantastic as well and answered all my questions and made great conversation! Highly recommend! Curious to try the alcohol as well now!”

“Great food, family style. Mains were shared with the table - steak was tender (maybe a bit too undercooked for me), the salmon and chicken were a hit. Full of flavor and not dry at all. Wow. The roasted veggies were good - some broccoli had a good char, carrots and mushroom a bit greasy. Food was well plated and don't skip the freshly baked bread. It gets a bit crowded inside, but service was fast.”

“Amazing alcohol selection and incredibly fast, friendly, and polite staff. Their beer and canned cocktail selection is the best I've found in the area. Good amount of parking. The place can get very busy around when people get off work. But even at its peak rush I've never had to wait long. Always clean, organized, and well maintained.”
