“I would come by SF once or twice a year, and the thing I was most excited to visit was St. Patrick's Thrift shop. It's really quite small, but in a good way, as the shop never feels overwhelming, just fun and charming. The prices are affordable for houseware, jewelry, books, stationary, clothes, everything. Wonderful volunteer staff.”

“While I was on my job search, Rich at Bloom Marin helped me put together a professional wardrobe that gave me the confidence I needed to succeed. This is a photo of myself & Stella, the bulldog. Stella is pictured at the donation entrance to Bloom. The suit I am wearing was selected by Richard & photographed by my mother Tamra Phillips. We ❤️ Bloom Marin. ★★★★★”

“First time coming in here and was pleasantly surprised with the selection and prices. Staff were nice and helpful. Couldn't believe they were selling brand new ASICS and Brooks running shoes for $32. Tags still on. What a find, had to get a pair. Thank you!”

“Good selection, very small store. One issue with the experience.

I asked them to hold some items for half an hour, and when I came back, they said one of the items was missing a price and had to get re-priced. I know this item had a price tag because remember seeing it and thinking I’d buy it for my friend because it was a good deal. I always check the price tag and there were no other items with “missing” price tags.

I thought maybe the paper fell off, but it’s a plastic tagged item, so the plastic part should have been there.

I try to assumed positive intent, and I paid for the over double the price increase that was asked for, but I can tell I was deceived. The price was definitely there, and they decided to re-price it, and lie to me about it “not having a price”.

Come on, just be honest…. The world has enough deceit already.”

“My sister and I visited Grace Thrift today and we both found treasures! They were affordable and the shop is beautifully arranged. Most wonderful were the two women working there. They may have been the manager (great red hair) and the other a volunteer. They were so helpful and fun to interact with. GREAT thrift store. Highly recommend!”

“Lovely spot, in a quaint area (downtown mill valley). Affordable prices thank goodness ?? so much variety, and a designated section for ‘fancy’ designer clothes. Fun art selection, gifts, trinkets, hats. Etc.”

“If you come often, you’ll collect so many second hand gems. Probably 1/4 of the things i own in my apartment are from here! My favorite find is this wooden desk.”

“Insiders Local Tip: Make sure to sell on days that either Diana or Flora are working, they are the expert buyers and are super sweet too.The two other ladies big Latina and long curly haired lady are pretty much clueless when it comes to fashion in general, they will barely take anything,I took whatever they didn't take and sold the rest to Buffalo Exchange which has been around longer than F.X..FYI.

I have been a loyal shopper here since they first opened on Polk @ Sutter ( um over 20 years ago) I think? YIKES! I have both sold and bought items here over the years and it never fails that I always find something totally awesome. They pretty much take everything I bring in to sell so that's cool..Some all time fave purchases, black leather jacket,a silver pentagram necklace, large travel tote and most recently retro Christian Dior sunglasses for just $25

Love the 80's or Euro style music usually playing in the background to set the ultimate fun shopping vibe.
Fashion Exchange rocks! ?”

“The thrift store, started in the 1930’s supports five charities. The shop is staffed primarily, by community volunteers. Wonderful items are donated by generous supporters. Definitely worth a look when in Tiburon on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and some Sundays.”

“So many gems. Found some lovely pants for both myself and my boyfriend. Really high quality, and every day of the week they are putting out new stuff. Also got some super cute boots for only 7.49.”

“Recycle instead of tossing out good stuff! Been shopping here for decades. Been able to find many things for my wardrobes, house furnishings, decorative objects, art, kitchen supplies, tools, gardening equipment “, etc. Best place to recycle for reuse of your good condition clothing (clean and in very good immediately wearable condition) and furniture and nice bric a brac to keep them out of landfill.”
