Called to ask if I needed an appointment for smog check, was told no need just walk in should only take 10-15 min. I arrived about an hour later was told the guy who does the smogs took off to test drive a car and would be back in 30 min. I went and ran an errand, returned 25 min later & told the guy wasn't back yet. Waited another 20 min in the parking lot before deciding to take my business elsewhere. Disappointing.

Terrible service. Left my car sitting in the same spot for over 3 weeks just to say they need to get to it. Got my car back and will never go back. Suck a waste of time. If you have an appointment, be ready to have regular walk ins take priority over your car.

I arrived at the shop at 10. I had two cars ahead of me, yet I got everything done by 11. The man was professional and quick. Definitely recommend this place for smog check! 60-ish$ for my Toyota! Worth every penny!

Decided to give this spot a second chance even though there customer service isn't the best so I set an appointment for 10 am today I could tell they are busy but what's the point of making an appointment if it's not going to be acknowledged smh went down the street to freedom smog they were great

Went for a smog a week ago, and I called to see if they needed appointments, and they said no because they normally get you out in 15 mins. He did say he was out for a test drive and would be back in about 35 mins. I got they aboit 45 minutes later, and he was still on the test drive. Waited just a little bit, and once he came back, I was out in less than 15 minutes. Great service, great person to deal with. Highly recommend using this local shop.

Took me right in no appointment needed. They were busy (which is great for them) but they got me out in 1/2 hour. It cost about $70 and it was done. Thank you Lathrop Smog.
