“This is our (family) gymnasium well one there's not many gyms to play ball at in our area and two we know the kids and staff that work at this gym so we pretty much frequent this gym. This is a cool local gym where during the weekend on Saturdays in basketball season they have youth rec teams playing ball. They have open gym on Sundays so I usually take my boys to play with they buddies.”

“Somehow while mindlessly scrolling Facebook an ad popped up for a 16 week kickboxing challenge. CHALLENGE, you say?? *side eye smirk* I mean sure, why not? I was just coming out of a 9 year marriage feeling deflated, just blaghh and needed something to motivate me out of my comfort food binging and grey days. First class THEY KICKED MY ARSE INTO NEXT SUNDAY!! lol. But WAIT wait wait. Don't run off scared cause I promise it gets better. Much better. Like friendly staff better. Like no judgement whatsoever better. Like instructors who inspire you better. Like go at your own pace but push yourself better. Like endurance and strength better. Like suddenly don't crave cookies better. Like 15 lbs lost and I can fit all my cute clothes again better. Like BOXING IS SO MUCH FUN kind of better. Oh man, Kels, this all sounds so great! Why only 4 stars? Welllll yes it's awesome but not without it's flaws. Here's a few... I loved one instructor and her program in particular, but because I work nights our schedules only lined up for 2 classes per week. I wish they had more instructors with more afternoon classes, as that would've made it worth the monthly fee and continued membership. The music is VERY repetitive. Would've been nice to have more variety. They mainly stick to one genre with the same songs and that gets old, even slightly annoying for someone like me who's subjected to repetitive music all night at work. Plus not everyone likes that style of music. I get that they need upbeat tunes but you can find that in many other genres too, just sayin! Also small peeve but there were inconsistencies with the number of classes I completed. Every staff member had a different answer. I finally got smart towards the end and asked for a printout so I could count it myself lol. Those things aside, the challenge was well worth it. If you stay consistent and follow a nutritional plan you'll see results, probably make a few friends and HAVE A BLAST pounding away your stress!”

“Training here is strong. As someone who has traveled and trained in numerous gyms in NY state and California, I can see why champions are made here. Each class begins with a lesson plan that can focus on technique or fighting strategies. The junior coaches are sharp and experienced fighters themselves. The head coach, Bryan Popejoy, has so much attention to detail that he polished his fighters well. I miss training in the classes and sparring there. Probably one of the strongest gyms I've ever had the pleasure of training at.”
