I deposited a $7,000 check, which cleared the payor bank that same day. BOA initially told me there would be no hold on that deposit. Although they had cleared funds that were actually in their possession on December 1, on December 2 they issued a notice of a $7000 hold on my account and will not let me access my account funds for a week. Now I cannot make my mortgage payment, pay other bills, or do any Christmas shopping. I have been a customer of that bank since 1999, but not much longer.

Very professional people were there, but God help them with very bad customers people complain about anything they find on their way. Don't know how the employees they do it there.

I was told it would be half an hour to speak to a banker. There was 1 person ahead of me. Only 1 banker on site. I've never heard of anything so ridiculous.

I'm pretty sure they don't give a dime about our reviews since mostly everyone complain about this branch and still no change in management. Worst branch in the San Diego county due to their horrible customer service.

Modified hours from 10a-1p. Showed up 10:06a, line of 16 people. Six BOA employees, only two tellers. Seven closer BOAs were closed or either temporarily closed. BOA needs to do better for it's customers. Absolute garbage.

I would like to give NO STARS!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! Especially the white female with the curly hair. Worst ATTITUDE EVER! I stopped banking with this bank 20 plus years because their customer service is the worst! I'm hurt and on disability. So disability sends you an atm card that has to be used at Bank of America! I've worked customer service for 20 plus years this woman has no business working here.

BS service and disregard for consumers time! I deposited a check via their app, it was not accepted, I called their CS and they told me to go into a brach and show Id and that would solve the issue. Went in to the lemon Grove branch and encountered a miserable teller "Reyna" with a horrible attitude. She called the manager and after 10 min. They told me that I might need to request another check and do another deposit. I explained I spoke to their CS and gave them all details; their answer "you can try using the ATM". What kind of BS service is that? As soon as the check clears, I will close all my accounts and go to a credit union.

I've seen this bank closed for 2+ weeks on multiple occasions with no explanation - now it closes at 4pm hanging on by a thread to "Covid times" tho it says 6pm for lobby hours on the door In what planet does an industry like banking get to close at 4pm on a Friday when every other brand is going for longer more convenient hours for its customers This goes without mentioning lines are typically out the door because it's ran with such a minimum staff This isn't on the people who work there - just the 1-2 people who are in charge of the branch - it's not the same at other locations

This location has always been a dumpster fire. There's a high turnover of employees as well as management. When it's busy, it's understaffed. When it's slow, it's overstaffed. If you have a concern or complaint, the manager will not come out and it's not taken seriously unless you mention reaching out to their corporate office. Either way, it goes unresolved. Due to COVID-19 it has been closed multiple times. Be patient if you really need to be serviced. It's going to be awhile. Make sure your cell phone is charged so you can play games or watch videos while you wait. There is a merchant line but they refuse to use it.

I can't Imagine why this Branch has a Low Rating but for me, from the First Day I opened my Account to Now, Everything has Flowed for me Perfectly. From Banker that helped me open the Account, the Tellers and Especially the Security Guard, Brandon From G4S Security, have All Made My Experiences here Perfect !

I don't mean to be rude, but I had to wait on the phone for 3 hours and the customer service man just hanged up on me after he said "hello" and they placed my account on hold. It has been 3 days none of the agents can't Help me still. Worst bank ever !! All they do is transfer you and make you wait on the line for 3hrs and hang up again. Please don't associate with this bank. Their useless none of the agents won't help you at all. Be careful !!

The corporate must do some clean up here and give employees proper training specially Allen Allosh. I am extremely busy and I cleared my schedule for a day to come in and apply for my business checking account and business credit card. Allen Allosh said he'll help me and took me to his office where we sat there and he wasted my time. We applied for the business checking account. I received all the information, confirmation paper works and print outs for that. Then when it came to the business credit card he didn't know what to do. He kept stalling me and then after several minutes he said "you're all good to go" did not give me any proof of submission info or paper work that the application for credit card was submitted. He just sent me on my way. I'm Sure he did not know how to apply for the credit card. He could have just asked for assistance from his colleagues or told one of the colleagues who knows how to do it to assist me but instead he said "it's all done" and sent me on my way. It's been weeks and I still have not heard back from Bank Of America's business credit card Dept. As for the checking account they touched base the next day and informed me it was mailed and is on the way. As for the credit card still no call no email confirmation nothing. I emailed Allen Allosh to follow up to see if he truly submitted my business credit card application because it was add that he said it's submitted and sent me on my way without any proof/paper work of application submission. He also still haven't emailed me back or called. Very unprofessional and careless employee. He needs a proper trainings. Complete waste of time!!!! Now I have to clear my schedule again to go apply for a business credit card but this time I know not to go to Bank of America. I don't think they care about customers/clients. I would rather go to WellsFargo.

Best branch I've been to .. the bankers, tellers, and managers.! Even the security guy tho ! Are amazing.. and whoever said anything other than that then they have no idea what working in a bank is like ! People are insane for thinking that they can yell or be rude on whoever they want .. they need to understand that there is POLICY'S that people have to follow in their jobs .. just be patient and wait for your damn turn my friend.. Oh and don't say something that they didn't say to you just to make them look stupid .

Wish I could give zero stars. Unbelievably rude assistant manager, who refused to give her name and doesn't wear a name tag (brown curly hair). Worthless manager. So much I could say, but the gist is I just wanted to cash some fifty dollar savings bonds, not like I'm gonna break the bank. SSN is printed on each bond and I'm a 30 year customer with the matching number, but they wouldn't accept them in my former name. Asst Manager told me "just go sell them somewhere." What? I was then told to bring documentation that showed my prior name, so went home and brought back my driver's license from back then. Told that wasn't acceptable, must be court papers showing name change. Seriously? So I made another trip and brought that. AM went over them for a good five minutes like I was some lying criminal with forged documents. I asked for her name and an address for corporate and her response was "don't come back here again, we won't help you." I'm sorry, what did you just say? You have my money and are a fiduciary with a legal responsibility to assist me. Finally spoke to manager who actually said they've bent over backwards to help me. Wow. You have no clue about your employees. So I took my bonds to another branch and big surprise, they were polite and helpful and more than satisfied with my original documentation. Lemon Grove branch needs some serious training in customer service. Looking at their reviews, I shouldn't be so surprised.

Unbelievably bad service and poorly run. Tellers are rude,, lines are long and even the simplest tasks seem difficult to them despite clear instructions both written and verbal.
