“My new go-to battery place in south Bay Area. Just several miles from my home. Ironically, another company referred me to Julio C Battery because they didn't have the battery that I needed in stock. I procrastinated with one car and the other car had to keep getting jump start. At this point, I decided it was time to get my replacements on both, asap.
I had arrived at the Julio C battery shop. Greeted by Julio's daughter who appeared to be running the shop today. She was helpful and informative about the batteries, etc. The shop had all kinds of batteries that were ready to go. Both of my car batteries were replaced in no time. I honestly thought I would be waiting for an hour or so. Service was quick. Staff were available to conduct the change out without issues.

“I really tip my hat to the gentlemen working at this location. Not only did I feel defeated upon arriving, but I was really ticked off with their competitor AutoZone. I will never step another foot in an AutoZone. Although I was fuming and outraged as soon as I walked into this O'Reillys I was greeted by a couple of fellas offering help with a smile. I was caught off-guard and had to do a doubletake. What was this thing called?... This feeling of friendliness and value?... Of equality and respect? Oh yeah... It's called quality customer service... I was absolutely dumbfounded and my mood suddenly lifted when I saw their smiling faces eager to assist. It wasn't long before I started describing what I had been on the hunt for and sent straight to the aisle to gather my prize and complete my mission. I went on to tell the two employees about my previous stop and they confirmed that this sort of thing happens quite often. Finishing up the transaction the cashier informed me that I would receive a refund for the items I didn't need or couldn't use. As if reassuring me that I was welcome and they wanted me to come back to do more business. These experiences seem to be further apart and almost non-existent in today's world.
