I cant believe how bad this H&R block is. I went in to do my taxes over a month ago and sat down with someone who did NOT know what she was doing and now a month later I am getting letters from the IRS and CA tax board because they did not submit the correct forms or documentation. I gave them a 1 star review on their site because they kept emailing me. After I submitted my review I had the manager( or just someone from this branch) call me more than once. I ignored it but I am going to assume they called to ask why I gave them a 1 star review. I wish I could give zero stars. I should have just did my own taxes.

Review for H&R Block
I recently had my taxes prepared at H&R Block, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The representative assisting me did not seem as knowledgeable as she should have been throughout the entire process. I had several questions, but her responses lacked depth and clarity, making me feel uncertain about the accuracy of my return.
The real issue arose when my refund was deposited into the wrong account—off by just one digit. When I scheduled a separate appointment to discuss this, hoping for guidance, I was simply told to “reach out to the bank and was giving out a form to fill out that I had already researched and suggested based on my own investigation and research.” That response was neither informative nor helpful. Given that H&R Block promotes a Peace of Mind benefit, I expected better customer service and support in resolving such a critical issue.
Overall, I feel like I wasted my time and money. I trusted H&R Block to handle my taxes efficiently, but the lack of expertise and support left me frustrated. I will strongly reconsider using their services in the future.

I have been coming here for years and Felicia has always been my analyst she is the best. I in and out with full knowledge that my taxes are done correctly and she makes me feel like a friend even though I see her once a year. That's a good feeling.
