******************AVOID *********************San Diego county has been contacted and will be following up with this establishment*ROACH INFESTED DIRTY MOTEL*Doing a quick google search, This was my last minute decision to stay here.Problem one: way over priced for the nasty, uncleaned, out dated rooms.As soon as I walk into the $107 run down room, a cockroach on the bathroom floor (approximately 2 nickels laying side by side). It wasn’t no small guy.Through out the 2 hours I was there I found 3 more. The shower was covered in ants.I’m done. I’m not sleeping here. So I Put them into a rag and walked to the office with the proof.I respectfully spoke to these people for AN HOUR. And They REFUSED a refund, refused to let me speak to the manager.I’m by no means a Karen, I was very calm and reasonable with these people, but because the lack of respect, communication, and compensation, is the reason the county was contacted.

I worked for the Marriott for many years so I probably have higher expectations than most... But I've never had hotel staff act like they just didn't want me there the way this hotel staff did.They all acted like anything I requested or did was a huge bother for them. I mostly stayed in my room. I had an early meeting and got undressed to shower and realized there were no towels. So I called to the front desk, who claims they are 24/7 and asked if someone could bring me towels. My room was literally 10 ft from the office. It was 4 30 am. He said "Why are you taking a shower now, can't you wait till morning?" No joke. I told him no. The towels were kept in a closet right outside my room but it was locked. Id watched him come out get them then go back to his office.Then I waited... 30 min later I called again. Annoyed he told me I could come get them.I ended up staying over 2 weeks that stay, but Id stayed several times before. They never got any more friendly. They had several vending machine that didn't have the hot food that it showed on the outside. It just took my money. The front desk claimed the machines weren't theirs so they wouldn't return my money. Then the candy machine was removed. Then the only 2 machines that worked were soda for $3.50 a can no diet and the ice machine were removed my room was in the smaller building and the motel was not even close to sold out so they started construction off some kind in the rooms above and beside me. They started at 7 am and were still running asaw at 10 pm. I called once to see how late they would be and she actord like I was being crazy for asking she assured me they would stop at 9. They did not.The AC outlet was coming out of the wall, had brown burn marks on the plug and the plug has been glued back together with one prong in the wrong direction. It's loud at night and I saw a couple fights break out. The only place worse on the crown nn

The Filipino lady who runs the front desk, Pina has no brains and is BY THE BOOKS.God forbid your wife/husband forgets to add your name to the reservation. You will sit outside and wait till the persons name who's on the reservation gets there and grants permission.Last name doesn't matter.Doesn't even matter if the card that paid for the room has YOUR name on it.After questioning why this had to be so complicated as I was hungry and exhausted from flying all day and ready to wind down, she responds to me with "she must call in and add your name, rules are the rules". I get that. But do you have a brain.Bottom line is the representative behind that desk needs to use common sense when judging situations and use the posted rules as a guide. But ultimately she should judge each situation, call her manager if she's not for sure, and have her manager use HER/HIS common sense.What would've been the issue with my wife honestly not realizing my name needed to he on the reservation and she wasn't available at that moment in time to call in and add my name to the reservation? Things happen, and exceptions should be given.But instead she costed Rodeway Inn $300+ in room refunds.Use the brain that God gave you.

i wish i could give 0 but first of all, i didnt even get to stay here. Thank the lord. honestly we first got there and The lady was a pretty rude , we had told her we had a reservation and she denied it. She said there was no booking under our name and when we said we paid and showed receipt, she refused and kept asking for a name. She told us we needed to call to find the reservation and we did and refused to stay there after seeing poor reviews. also this lady was trying to make us wait 45 minutes because systems went down.

if I could leave 0 stars I would, I had the worst experience trying to get a cancellation and refund. I booked through a third party and they were super helpful over the phone however, the employees here never answer the phone and are extremely rude. They kept giving me a time to call back for when the manager would be available to approve the cancellation and refund and when I would call at the given time they said he wasn’t available, I believe his name is Harry. This happened about 5 times, I never once got ahold of him. Never book here and Harry you need to train your front desk employees they are super unprofessional and rude, never have I experienced customer service this bad. In total it took me about 20+ phone calls back and forth with the third party and this hotel and 4 days to get both approved… ridiculous

I have stayed here a few times over the years. It’s in the middle of Lemon Grove next to a supermarket.The front desk is locked. You have to check in through the window even during the day. Not exactly a great area I guess.The room was minimal. Not even a box of Kleenex. Microwave ovens no longer present in any room. No coffee.The bed and tv were the only positives. Skip this place.

We paid 4 the room 3 months in advance & from the start they gave Us problems..We called a month Before the arrival date to move Our stay a week later than planned & they wouldn't do it..The room that We ordered was suppose to Have 2 king size Bed & a microwave which was a lie on Both amenities then the workers are rude & don't explain anything as far as check out But when it's time to check out they just walk in the room without knocking then rush you..Just a Badd experience & We are just getting started in the week vacation Here....

No HOT WATER FOR THREE DAYS and all the discount I received was $7.00. The worst they wanted me to stay with only $7.00 off 96.00 weekday and $138.00 weekends. They kept saying it will be fixed today....... I was there 13 days lolRooms: There was bugs on the floor and The first day I had to get clean sheets.Food & drinks: Right next to a Grocery store and food places close.

The office staff is welcoming and friendly. The hospitality service is superb and so are the ladies! My daughter and I have been staying here the past few weeks. Super convenient location and it is very quiet in the evening hours. Rooms are clean and the best thing is they have a fridge and microwave! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Rooms: Super cleanWalkability: Superb!Food & drinks: food 4 less is walking distance

Was very disappointed with this room as a Choice affiliate. Not only wasn’t my room clean prior to getting it, I had to request pillow case covers for the pillows. I also had to relocate rooms on my forth night stay due to a Bed Big found on the sheet while doing some homework. From the looks of it, the bug was at an adult stage which means it’s been there for a while.When mentioned to the front desk I asked “has this been an issue in the past”? His reply was not really. After changing rooms, I left the following morning with someone in the same room the bug was found.There are more issues I could address however, this one is the most important I felt the need to share. I definitely will never stay or recommend this hotel to anyone.

I stayed here often, great prices. The room is decent and had everything needed. Working AC, comfortable bed, fridge and microwave, also fast wifi connection. In the past 2 year this been my go to place or the one in National City. It's clean, quiet & affordable. It always been a pleasant stay, haven't had any issues, the staff been very nice and friendly. Check in is quick and best part is check in time at 2pm. One negative thing I don't like is the parking is a little bit tight, but beside that for what I'm paying...I'm very satisfied. :0)

Our experience has been positive. My husband and I have had to stay longer than expected and the service was wonderful. Between housekeeping always making sure we had what we needed, the front office has been above and beyond helpful to our needs.
