First and last time to use uhaul… Their trucks are never cleaned never, I don’t know if other locations are the same…The truck they give me was very dirty stinks from inside the remote key was not working, steering wheel sticking… And paid them $161 for 2 days

Daniel Rios and Levi helped me purchase a $9400 17ft 2007 box truck. I specialize in customer service and let me tell you I have never seen better customer service then Daniel and Levi . Constant communication they where so busy, but the whole time they’re keeping me updated providing one of the best if not the best customer service I have ever received anywhere. I’ve eaten at 5 star restaurants, stayed at 5 star hotels. I can’t believe I’m saying this but a Uhaul company provided the best customer service I have ever had. I tipped Daniel and bought lunch for Levi. This will be the only U-Haul I ever go to and if you have a brain you should go their too.Daniel and Levi much love to you guys God bless you and your families thank you for helping me today. YOU BOTH DESERVE A RAISE!

3rd location I had to go to for my reservation and they were 0 help. Sent me another hour drive away with no help while they had plenty of trucks on the lot.

I came here for a hitch receiver install. While I was waiting , I had the opportunity to observe all the busy interactions that took place on a Tuesday and returned on a Friday also .. I could not believe the 100% customer service and interaction with every employee at the Lemon Grove location. There were grumpy folks and even with that Rios and his staff multi tasked quickly and efficiently to address every customer need. I wasn't in a hurry and definitely not in the moving mode , I understand that can be frustrating when the process doesn't work smoothly .. which rarely happens . All the staff were patient and moved at a smooth pace always respecting each other and working together . I understand this location has had some challenges prior to Rios moving to this location to help improve the production and process of the business. I would have never known there were any snags before I walked in. I'm writing this review because I truly believe good people and good business should be acknowledged even more during the COVID pandemic. The business interactions here were top notch customer service . I'm so thankful for Rios , he always wears a smile and is the most patient person in a "stressful environment" , that I've encountered in many years! Thank you Uhaul on Massachusetts .. Lemon Grove ! You all rock and work so hard

Ordered a hitch for our van online and they gave me a date and time a week away. I showed up only to be told they changed the date because the part hadn't come in yet. NO ONE bothered to call us. They said "Oh but we changed the date" and No One called us, and didn't even have a time set. Some scraggily looking guy, I think he said his name was Brian, said the manager was out and wouldn't come in for the day until 10:00 am-it was 9:00 am and couldn't give us the time of day. No apologies, nothing. Pretty much, you already paid, we got the money, screw you. The Corporation should pull their heads out of their butts and see what a crummy employee (can't say human) they have working for them. How can this company be run like this? They cannot be taken seriously. Some workers working hard, and yet, some workers hardly working. It's like a bad sitcom. We spent over $400 for a hitch and got treated like crap. I dearly hope the guy who did our hitch wasn't Brian, for safety's sake. Take your business elsewhere.

if i could give 0 stars i would. don't even waste your time with any of the uhaul companies in san diego. we reserved a 20ft uhaul a week ago (cause we're moving to another state). in the morning when we're supposed pick up they tell us they don't have our truck.. after already confirming with them that morning of before we wasted our time headed down there. then they send us to another uhaul location that had one 20 ft truck and of course they give it to the people in front of us. they find a 15ft (which won't fit all of our stuff) truck for us and now they can't even find the damn keys. absolutely horrid service. i honestly don't understand how they're even in business. i paid over a 2 grand for the absolute worst service i have ever had.

Sandy used her personal cell phone to take a picture of my driver license to upload to the U-Haul system this was not acceptable for U-Haul to as big corporation there has to be a better this a privacy issue and needs to be address as soon as possible to protect all future U-Haul customers I have been a U-Haul customer for 20 years and never has this been done

Horrible customer service!!!! We purchased a used Uhaul truck for our small business and needed some parts so we called down and after being on hold for 10 minutes the guy that answered the phone just wanted to repeat "all sales are final" instead of listening to our questions or being useful in the least Called the corporate # and got exactly what we needed in 5 minutes Use ANY other location

Why are U Haul locations always so shady? My credit card was charged for the use of a utility dolly and moving blankets when I returned the truck. It was only 12 dollars plus tax but it shows what scumbags these people are. I think I will hire movers next time instead of using this company.
