My friend and I went into Dollar General today to use the bathroom and look around. I picked up some nails and looked at them and put them back and o kept one set of nails on me because I was thinking of getting them for my daughter. Upon deciding not to get them and setting them down on a shelf, my friend and I decided to leave because they don’t have very much to offer at this store. My friend and myself were already out of the store and almost to the car when one of the employees decided to run out of the store and yell at us. They tried asking where the nails are. We looked at him confused and he proceeded to tell us that we were walking around with nails and that we took them. I was showing him that my pockets were empty and that there was nothing on me and my friend did the same. He then told us that we NEEDED to go back in the store and show him wheee we put them and I was like well we can look from them because I kind of just set them down on a random shelf. So, my friend and I went back and started to look for them. He was making sure that he stayed on us like a hawk and said YOU CAN LEAVE YOU CAN LEAVE ITS FINE YOU CAN LEAVE. I told him no, I’m going to find the shelf that I set them on to show him that I didn’t steal a little $4 pack of press on nails. I found them, showed them to him and he SNATCHED them out of my hand and was like OKAY YOU CAN GO NOW. I have NEVER had this happen to me at ANY store. We definitely will not be going back to this store!! He already had the other employees phone ready to call the cops over a $4 pack of press on nails that were right there in the store . Ridiculous.

This is a great store if you have to buy groceries or hygiene products. Even a phone. It's like a little wal mart and very convenient for a small town.

They have very very little merchandise to offer compared to all the other Dollar generals ... I get that this store just opened not that long ago but you would have assumed that it would be common sense for management to make sure their aisles are fully stocked prior to opening they had practically nothing on their shelves and their shelves look exactly the same as they did when they first opened.. empty.
