“My family with 2 young kids (5yo and 3yo) greatly enjoyed our two-night stay at Little River Inn! We stayed in the historical inn in a room with two double beds and there was plenty of space for the family. We had views of the Pacific from our window, which were beautiful. We enjoyed the restaurant for breakfast and dinner, which both had great options for kids and adults. We walked around the grounds comfortably, chatted with a friendly worker at the golf shop, and even enjoyed the kid-friendly 0.5 mile hike down to Van Damme Beach. The Inn is a 5 minute drive to Mendocino and a shorter drive to the Van Damme State Park, where we enjoyed hiking the Fern Canyon Trail. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing vacation! We hope to be back in the future.”

“A quiet & peaceful cottage in the forest, for a couple's getaway is what became to be just what we needed for an anniversary trip. It was peaceful and the time was so restful. It was just perfect!I loved the skylight and wood burning fireplace and especially the "Chickens!".I couldn't get enough of snapping shots at the sweet chatty chickens!. We would love to come back soon!”

“The best rhododendron garden on the West Coast.

E traordinary view of the coast and of the grey whale migration. The whole visit is worth a solid one and a half to two and a half hours. There is a good cafe where one can get lunch as well.

This garden garden is a jewel, with a very large park, areas that are deer-free and others that are deer-friendly, and many areas with fascinating landscaping. Several times a year, they put together special events are worth a visit to the Redwood Coast in their own.

This is one of my top three favored botanical garden worldwide. For sure worth a visit when in the Redwood Coast, worth a dedicated visit to the Coast if you like gardens.”
