Why is it ok for the cashier to be on the phone while waiting on customers? I won't be going there anymore. He needs training in customer service

Worst 711 I’ve ever been to…… their slurpy machine hasn’t been fixed in at least 4 months…. Also all of the cashiers here are very rude and not sociable. Every time I go there a certain cashier is always talking on his phone with his earbuds. He completely ignores you and you have to ask for something multiple times because of his phone conversation. I’ve worked in customer service my entire career and I know how you’re supposed to treat all customers. It’s a shame no one does anything about it.

I have been going to this store for almost 15 years now. Under the same ownership since the first day it was brought to our Springtown area. I have to say recently this store is becoming one of my favorites! There is new management under the same owner, that care about the store & its wellbeing. Friendlier clerks, great service, reasonable prices, and one thing that other 711 stores in Livermore cannot relate to.... GOOD Hot FOOD!!! After a long day at work I stop by for a slice of pizza and a taquito. These guys always have fresh food hot & ready, so no matter the time of day I can grab my slice & big gulp and go about my day. Really happy the store is feeling and looking better now!

Whoever the employee working the register right now (2/1/23 9:30PM) is, should not be working anywhere in which he is face to face with people, at all. Aside from his overall rude presence, as if it is absurd he has to take time from his day to ring up my items so that I can pay for them, even though it is, literally, his job. Continue his phone conversation loudly the entire time I was at the counter making it impossible to ask him to purchase a scratcher, and when h he finally acknowledged me it was to rudely say no and he closed their lottery stuff early.I am not demanding or expecting some 5 -star kind of treatment coming into the 7-11 here, but it would be nice not to be treated like some gunk you walked in and can't seem to shake off the bottom of your shoe now.

Store employee or owner was flipping rude. He didn't want to make a pizza when it wasn't even that late. He was on the phone the whole time. Threw our stuff at us and then ignored us. He doesn't like to have business cause this is the worse place I've ever been. On top of that. He selling expired candy and food. Just disgusting. Only went here cause it was convenient by motel 6 but even motel 6 employees were so rude. I thought Stockton was bad...

I always build up $1 off through 7Rewards and the night guy always clicks me out of it the second it pops up. I don't even have a problem that he is always on his phone and never engages the customers, I just want my 7Rewards point. That is 'all'.

Last week I was driving from the Gold Country to Marin for minor surgery. My back is the culprit and oh! It really hurt after several hours of on / off driving. Ice packs were all now warm and I asked the owner if he had frozen veggies or something, but all he had was a too large/heavy for me to lift or carry bad of ice. But, he took it out to my car got me all situated and was quite kind about it. It's unfortunately unusual these days, that level of service. I did not ask him, either, he just offered. I will certainly return on my way home.

Their clerks aren't even trained on how to use their own 7-Eleven app they are confused by the wallet portion of it that you can have a gift card on. The store is always dirty especially around the coffee area.
