Went to the store, I selected a box of men's 4-pack underwear. Asked an employee (who I later found out was the Asst GM of the store) about the price of underwear. They told me that the underwear was 25% off the sticker price (for underwear items only) and an additional 20% off purchase (current promotion across all merchandise). Given my knowledge of the pricing of item, I thought this was a good deal, so I decided to purchase it.I went to the cashier and when the item was rung up the item, the 25% discount was not applied. I told the cashier and she then the Asst GM who then proceeded to check their system and told me that this item was excluded from promotion. I told her she just explicitly told me it was. She told me she not be expected to know the pricing of all items in store - wow that was a nice response! I told her the mistake would cost me a loss of 25% discount and she should take accountability for the error. She gets upset and I must admit I did raise my voice and asked her to contact her manager so I could address this issue with them. GM gets there looks at me very upset and begins to scold me telling me to calm them and tell me what happened. She talks to me in a condescending manner - not once apologizing for the misinformation. She tells me that they get "customers like me" every day - really? She then proceeds to say maybe I have a problem dealing with her and her AGM because they are female - WTH! Really - pulling out the gender card without any basis- I just want a deal on undies :)At this point, I decided this issue would not get resolved and told GM I was leaving the store and she said fine leave and to not return come back. This is a great example of a business making a mistake and failing to recover from it (called service recovery). A simple apology would have gone a long way - of course, some discount would have been icing.I went to another Calvin Klein Outlet in the LA Area and discussed this incident with a GM and they were shocked by the GM's actions. GM should know that disloyalty can stunt sales growth by 25%- 50%. Oh well.If you scan the YELP reviews - you find comments about the GM - seems it mentions the same GM - Calvin must have no other choice be to keep this GM and the GM knows it. Many comments voice the same issue about GM being rude and inconsiderate - guess Calvin's retail division does not mind the lost sales.

I bought a pair of jean in Gilroy for $50 and that didn't fit me and they only gave me $19 store credit because that how much they were "selling them for" and when I go to the back to get another pair their also $50 and had to pay $30 more.

Mediocre selection and the prices weren't that great. The sales associates acted like we were going to steal the items we wanted to try on...didn't seem to believe that we had multiple sizes of the same item to test the fit (despite that being pretty common for a bra fitting/selection) and questioned us when we said yes they are different. The second sales associate also seemed suspicious of us even when we handed the remaining put backs directly to her as suspected. Horrible policies, I mightve tried stuff on myself and purchased more but feeling so scrutizined was so unpleasant.

If I could I would this place is the worst for customer service and awareness to ppl disabilities...I wanted to pay for my items...the girl had enter all my purchases so I gave her theScan bar for an extra 15% off....the the lady wanted me to give my emails so I gave it to her....so I asked to scan my bar code because previous time and time again that what the associate does...and on my way no problem..so the girl couldn't do it she says needed my email again...so again gave it to again...so by this time my anxiety switch was on...so she called the other associate to do it...I told her no luck so I was yelling by this time I said plz can u just scan the bar code so I can leave...nope then she called the manager I think her name was Delia....she asked for my email...I said wtf is with damn email...omg can u scan so I can get the hell out of here...then she was to argue with me...I said again can u scan so I can go ....anxiety is on full mode...I told her i was shakin to get the items I needed for my daughter...I said is all this necessary...then Delia took the items back...I said wtf...let me get these items for I can leave.... But told u in the beginning I have anxiety...so she told me to shop online...I came here at 10am for a reason no one is here...keep in it was only me in the store be side the three associates....I can shop online for my daughter...I said thanks to my disability for payin no attention to me when I told more than once....so I finally got my three items and left as I was leaving she told me she was going to remember me...and said she going to call the police I said go ahead....Idgaf....call them now with ur racial profiling self because my daughters remember u following them around the store...again I had to come back...and I said something then...I will do it again....crazy all for nothing needed that damn email....Location close to side of freeway

Get better managers. The dark haired male staff member was very helpful at checkout applying discounts. His partner (some short woman named Dahlia I think) was incredibly rude (to the other staff member and me). I wanted to try on a pair of sleepwear and got into the changing room. After the pair did not fit, I asked her to find another pair. She left and came back and announced (very loudly) "WE DON'T HAVE ANY SMALLER SIZES FOR YOU". Like ok? You don't have to shout it. When I left the dressing room and stated I would just get a smaller size in different color, she states again very loudly that they don't have my size, color or style in anything I wanted. It really made me just not want to buy anything in general. Went to the main Calvin Klein store (not the accessory/underwear substore) and had way better staff help and attitude. Don't be unnecessarily bitchy, it causes wrinkles.

Manager Dahlia (?) is freakin rude. No sense of good customer service from her. She's acting very much in a hurry and so impatient to hear customer's demands. Hoping management would do something to get her act right.

This review is for the smaller Calvin Klein (underwear) store on the back side of the mall closest to the freeway. I'm posting here since they don't have their own page on yelp. While shopping today I was looking for a sweatshirt. I live in the central valley where it was sunny and when I got to Livermore over the Altamont of course today it was cold. So I walk into Calvin Klein to grab some underwear and hopefully a sweatshirt. The mens side of the store had sweatshirts but all were too large as I am a guy with a smaller build. I seen a black sweatshirt across the store (womens side) and walked over to see if it would fit and see if it could possibly pass as unisex. (It could pass as unisex in my eyes). I picked it up and tried it for size. This was when the Indian lady working the floor completely yells out for all to hear, and I when I say loud I mean very loud, (Excuse me this is the womens side! Womens clothes only! The mens clothes are over there!) Did I mention LOUD... So now everyone in the store is looking at me, I put the sweatshirt down and walk myself back over to the mens side completely feeling like I was being judged and segregated to which side I physically belong on. It was a damn sweatshirt...a sweatshirt. I wasn't trying on womens lingerie or anything...I was appalled. I continued to select my items (ON THE MENS SIDE) and left. I in no way further interacted with or disrespected the the Indian woman working there, especially in the same way she disrespected me in the store. Granted she may not have physically meant any harm thinking she was helping me and thinking I was truly confused as to which clothes were womens vs mens... I can decipher which is which... but I think she needs to calm down, not yell and if you see a guy shopping on the womens side, or a woman shopping on the guys side, let them be. It was a black sweatshirt, I am not vain to buy a woman's black sweatshirt if I am cold and it will pass as unisex in my eyes. That's how you lose sales. Let's say I wont be back to spend my money there and I'll be going to the store across the way and the Folsom Outlet location. But on a positive, to the young guy who I forget his name was working the floor and the register at the same time, he was very nice and helpful. He had dark curly hair. I wanted to say thank you to him for being nice before and after the "incident". Management please go over this with staff. You simply don't treat a customer this way.

My number 1 store for clothes. Calvin Klein is all I wear. Great prices and a lot to choose from.
