3:56pm just to grab a quick red direct dye... had my son in my arms and the worker smiles at me while I just tried to open a locked door. I know it's only couple mins left before closing, but you should still be open and lock the doors at 4pm. Just my 2 cents but you lost a customer. Thanks

For all of the "customers' leaving bad reviews, because you didn't read the sign on the door that you need to be licensed to shop there, why is this fair to CosmoProf, which has always been restricted to selling to licensed professionals, to leave them a bad review? They have always been restricted even way back when they were West Coast Beauty Supply. It doesn't matter if it's lashes or nail glue.. if they make that exception once, you're going to go back and demand they expand their 'unrestricted products' and now you're insisting on purchasing shampoos and hair products because it's 'just shampoo".. Go to Sally.. smh

I came in rushing to get some lashes for an event ( didn't know you had to be licensed to buy from here...) which I guess... never heard that before. I was about to pay when he asked me for my card to see if I was licensed and I mentioned I'm only buying lashes. He then told me you had to be licensed to shop here, I giggled and said oh okay thanks and headed to the door when another person working there (curly hair, brunette, white girl) whispers something to that male worker who was at the cashier and they both started laughing. I confront her because I am still a customer at the end of the day. She starts going back and forth with me. Her excuse was "i said it's not funny when people come in and laugh when we say you have to be licensed to shop here" 1. NO one was laughing at no one. 2. Don't be assuming and talking s*** because some people will not take any lame a** excuse and will do something bout it. S*** staff over all.

I went in to CosmoProf in Livermore today with the intention of buying one thing - nail glue. When I brought the nail glue to the check out counter the woman behind the counter ignored me, said nothing and stared into space. I asked " how much will it be?" to grab her attention, but she just looked at me like I was crazy and then asked if I was licensed. I said no, I didn't know I had to be licensed to buy nail glue at CosmoProf. Not a problem though, I can buy nail glue somewhere else. The issue was this woman's lack of customer service. She was rude telling me I cannot shop there and her attitude, quite frankly, shocked me. I hope they treat licensed professionals with more respect. I felt like scum leaving that shop. If I get my license, I know 100% to NOT shop at CosmoProf.

Been shopping here for years, buying hair products with little to no help from staff. I am an esthetician and have a license, but unfortunately for me since I asked a question (that the girl didn't even have an answer for) about hair, the girl asked me if I was a cosmetologist and I told her no, I'm an esthetician, she said " I can't sell you hair product because you don't know what you're doing." I promise that "knowing what you're doing" is not a requirement of anyone who passes state board. Can't find this policy anywhere for Cosmo Prof and have told employees several times before that I'm an esthetician and not a cosmetologist, with no issues. I am a licensed professional and should be able to shop here, but now I don't even want them to have my business. I can buy the same products elsewhere.
