One of the better "dining" options you can find in the SF Premium Outlets in Livermore if you're looking for a quick bite, especially on a hot day. Outlets are never known for food, and with all the good Chinese food options in the Tri-Valley area, you really shouldn't be eating in the food court here. Nothing wrong with getting a quick snack, and that's what Dippin' Dots is for. Dippin' Dots was such a 2000s suburban mall mainstay that I honestly can't find enough of these days, but this is one that I can count on finding, and when I find the opportunity to do so, I'll definitely grab one. Only complaint is that you'll spend quite a bit, but it's not going to break your bank, and service leaves a lot to be desired, but just bug the kid watching YouTube all day and he or she will do their job. TIP: Banana split is probably my favorite flavor.

This Sunday. I came at 6:50pm and the kid here says he closes at 6:45pm. I checked yelp at it clearly states closed at 7pm. Couldn't get my dippin dot fix. Oh well. Lost my money. Bad business practice ran by pimply entitled teens.

I have never been so disappointed in a business before. I am not disappointed in the service because I have always seen the staff be relatively pleasant, but I am way beyond disappointed with the management. I was sitting on the benches right outside of the kiosk while my family shopped around. There was this poor girl there working her butt off and after about an hour and a half it calmed down and she left. She came back about five minutes later with food and as she was back in the kiosk about to start eating, a rush of people came and she had to set her food down and serve the customers. This may seem normal, but usually if you work for four or more hours you are required to get a break and this girl never got a break for the three hours I was sitting there. I have seen during the weekends too when the workers work 7-8 hours, they do not get any breaks! This is ILLEGAL! I cannot believe that the owner/manager would be okay with this!!! When it is as hot as it has been they should not be overworking these KIDS like I've seen more than two times. Sad, sad.

We were looking everywhere for dippin' dots. It's not on the store map. If any mom or dad is looking for this store just look up American Eagle Outfitters on the map. :) I got 10% off for checking in. I'm so glad they have this here because it's my daughter's favorite place to get a treat.

I haven't had Dippin' Dots since I was ten years old. 15 years later, and it's still as good as I remembered! :'D The Dippin' Dots in the mall is located in one of those outdoor kiosks, so if you go through Saks and then turn left and keep walking, you'll run right into it. Dippin' Dots are ice creams served in tiny ball form. My sister got banana split and I got cookie dough. The dots melt in your mouth with a burst of flavor, and while eating I was trying to figure out whether the marketing shtick is based on flavor or novelty--maybe a mixture of both? The service was great and the dots were good but I'm not sure I'd come here often. The small size is almost five bucks, and it is VERY, VERY small.
