Came to see Tony on a recommendation, and I am so glad I did. He knew just what I wanted and cleaned up a long overdue fix of an unfortunate haircut I got elsewhere. The salon is very relaxing, not what I'd call an upscale spa atmosphere but just easygoing and pleasant, super clean. I have been looking for a good hairdresser since Liz from Roxy's retired from doing hair. Found both Roxy and Tony here! Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

I have been coming to New Reflections since it opened in 1999 . It is like a one stop shop for all my personal needs. I see Sandy for my nails, Lisa for my hair and Randi for a wax and an occasional facial. They have always treated me like family and I feel the same about them.

I have been having sandy do my nails and pedicures for a number of years. She is the best! Takes better care of my feet than Kaiser foot care. Great salon. Sally g.

If you know me, you know I could careless about doing my hair on a daily basis, however every girl needs a trim. About 12 years ago I needed a trim, a friend of mine works here but was on maternity leave and recommended I see Jenny. I now see Jenny every 6 to 8 weeks for a cut, color, and/or highlights/low lights. And since then I moved from Livermore via Alameda to Hayward and still make the trek back because she does such a great job with my coloring. Not only do I see Jenny for my hair, Sandy (the owner) does my nails. Sandy is amazing and fun and does a great job and I have been going to her for over 8 years. The Salon is clean and the staff is friendly. If you need your nails or hair done, this is the place to go.

Just started coming to New Reflections a little while back because my long-time sylist Jill moved here from Vienna (Vienna's cleanliness and atmosphere left a bit to be desired). This is a MUCH nicer, cleaner spot. I haven't met the owner, but the care that goes into the place is evident, as evidenced by their longevity and reviews! I have been getting my hair cut by Jill for many years in several locations (Cost Cutters, Vienna, now New Reflections). My daughter grew up with Jill cutting her hair, and my wife goes to her too. We love Jill, she listens to what we need, makes sure that we are happy with her work, and cares about us as people. She's become more than just a stylist over the years, she seems like family! If you have her cut your hair, get her cell number to make appointments directly.

This is the greatest place, I have been a client of Jenny's for 12 years now. Not only does she give a great cut, she is an expert in color. I have been going to Sandy for my nails for 7 years. Now I rarely have a problem with lifting, breaking etc. Also she had helped my ingrown toe nails & reshaped my funny growing ones. Great pedicures! Everyone there is very friendly and they have many services I wish I had time to do. I also like that they use quality products, and are very conscientious about cleanliness so I feel very confident in them. My only problem is I'm moving to Arizona in 7 months and don't know what I'm going to do without them.

I've been a customer of Sandy (nails) and Lisa (hair) for many years. They are always reliable and friendly. Best of all, they listen to what I want as well as offer expert advice.

This place seems a little too ancient for me, including their aweful haircut that they gave me that made me look like a stay-at-home mother of the 1950's, which was definitely not the style I was looking for. Old lady hangouts are not my thing, and this is the spot it seems be pumping for that kind of clientele. Just not for me. I needed a more modern place with younger workers to go to. Maybe in about 60 years, I'll be back.

If you read my review of Livermore Auto Center (and I know you didn't), you know that I got my haircut here while I was getting an oil change and smog check. Hooray for multitasking. I walked in without an appointment. They seemed kind of busy but Debra was able to do one of those things where you stick an old lady under a hair dryer for a few minutes...or, hell, as long as you need. The place isn't lavish but it's clean. Debra was very friendly and easy on the nerves. My hair presents challenges so I set a fairly low bar as far as expectations go but for the first time cutting my wacky hair, she did a pretty good job. My hair is a series of interconnected cowlicks so I've had a some interesting results over the years and I think she hung in there pretty well. I didn't help...I think I communicate fairly well in general but once I sit in that chair, I become Dustin Hoffman in Rainman barking out single word instructions that don't make much sense. I'll put that on my therapy 'to do' list. The haircut was $25 ($7 more than Fantastic Sams) and I'll be back. I remember getting cuts at Yosh during the internet bubble years for $80. What a dork.
