Felipe is always on top of his game. Rented a trailer last minute and he made it work out as usual. My mom lives in area so I rent them a trailer from time to time to help her with yard work

The best place for truck/van rentals, and propane in the trivalley area. I have been to uhual across the country and this one has the best customer service. The staff are engaging and communicative. TK, the associate that helped me, makes me only want to come to this location.

If I could give negative Stars I would. The worst customer service ever. I believe the guys name was Tyler but don’t quote me on that. He was rude from the moment my grandfather and I walked threw the door. When we returned the equipment we were charged almost $1000. We were not informed on how the charges worked or that insurance was an option one that was not à mandatory thing. Was told that they would wait to charge my 86 year old grandfathers card until I had a chance to speak to the manager in the am We got home and there was 7 different transactions on his card totaling $931.50.I called to speak to the manager and the same guy that did the rental answered the phone. He was so condescending and rude and refused to let me speak to the man ever telling me that he was going to say the same thing and that he wasn’t going to get yelled at by his manager if he put me through to his line.So I can talk. To customer service and he hung up and sent me to the general customer service 800 number. Spoke to someone there whome was very nice and very polite. As a matter of fact both of the people I spoke with on the phone other then the rude on in Livermore were very polite. They told me they were going to send an email to this manager Felip Garcia and that he would get back to me within 48 hours. It’s going on the third day and I’ve gotten. O calls or emails in regards to this matter. Mean while my grandfather whom we are trying to get moved out of the home my grandmother and him shared for over 40 years and settled into senior community has this charge to add to the funeral cost amongst others things to feel so broken over.So if you couldn’t already tell I would NEVER EVER refer anyone I know or didn’t know to go to the . “U-Haul Moving & Storage of Livermore” Also, if I don’t get some type of response from U-Haul I would not refer the company all together.

Thank you to the gentleman that answered the phone today and Felipe for helping me with my trailer hitch. This s***** was heavy and I needed it raised up which takes the right equipment and labor . Huge thank you !!!

I am moving in November, but I am starting the packing process now. So I have patronized this U-Haul about one time/week for more packing supplies. The staff seems like they could care less--even the General Manager. Every single time I gather my supplies and go to the counter I have to stand there til someone puts down their phone and half acknowledges me. Then, I am NOT greeted. No hello or how can I help you. The person then just proceeds to look at what I am holding, put it into the system and tell me my total. Most of the time I am in there with my husband and we both carry items to the car. Today I was in there and had to use a cart to wheel my items to the front. The GM helped me and did not offer to help me to my vehicle--and I somewhat struggled to get the cart through the door. I load my vehicle and am halfway across the parking lot when I pass the GM--on his phone. In my opinion, the NICE thing to do would be--oh, I'll take that cart from you. Not that I cannot handle it myself, but customer service goes a long way. I have experienced only two younger men employees there that are more attentive and friendly and proactively helpful than the GM and one other person. After the GM helped me--he turned to other employees and were joking about how everyone was dragging into work today. I will keep purchasing supplies from here for my move--only because it's close--but the customer service is sorely lacking for simple purchases.

Don't give them your money. Why?I'm home sick with the flu and need propane in order to cook from our stove (we live outside city limits). My wife and step dad are on their drive to here to get propane. Knowing that they close at 5 and it's fast approaching, they politely call ahead and asked if propane will be open. The office said yes, that they close at 5 pm and to still come to their location to be helped.My family arrives there 10 minutes before 5pm with two small propane tanks ($60 total worth to fill up). My wife rings the propane bell as the sign says. Nothing. She walks in shortly there after and talks to the person at the counter who answered the call. They said the guy for that is now on a smoke break (either Tyler or Cameron) and to go wait outside and that he'll be right there.My family sees the guy on the smoke break who purposely takes his time, only to walk up after five minutes and says "propane is closed. We are closed now."My step dad walks in to the office to speak to the guy and says that we called ahead, got there well before 5, visually waited for him as told and had only two small tanks that takes a minute to fill up. Guy says to my step dad that "I am the guy who does the propane. If you want propane, I do it. And I say the propane closes fifteen minutes before we close."Now my family is trying to find propane so we can cook our small dinner and I can have soup and try to get healthy.Take your money elsewhere that way you're not perpetuating this type of behavior. Plus, it'll allow the employees to have more time in their day to smoke their cigarettes during company time.

Moving to Chico and originally set up for one way. Figured it might be easier to bring the u haul back to Livermore since my parents would be helping and would save us from having to take up multiple cars. Called and spoke with Tyler, he was very helpful and kind. Found out much cheaper to just drop off in Chico. He was also great in informing me pick up location could change since my preferred pick up was in Livermore (have to pick up in Tracy). Recommended I check my emails and call the week of. I've also always had a good experience with them, front desk is always welcoming. Thanks again Tyler!

Screwed me hard. Made a reservation for a trailer last week. Woke up this morning to an Email saying my reservation was cancelled. Today is Sunday and I need this trailer Monday morning, worse is, I thought this was a done deal. Kinda figured this was one thing I didn't have to stress and here I am.

The first two U-Haul's in Livermore didn't bother to answer the phone on two attempts today. I left messages and received no phone calls back after 48hrs. This is such TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE + a bad first impression when businesses do not follow up with customers inquiries. I chose the first two on my list because they were the nearest to my work. I called my third choice in Livermore and was happily greeted by a very nice staff person!!! Charlotte, the staff person helping me, was so helpful and informative. After explaining to her that I'm looking to get a tow hitch ordered and installed on my car. Charlotte was very polite and professional throughout the entire conversation and offered different options for my needs. I told her that it's for my daughters car for college and she would like to install a quality bike rack. i chose to get the tow hitch style so she could still access her trunk without having to remove straps or cables etc. After telling Charlotte this, she filtered down the list to my two best options and explained about the warranty only being $5 & how it's lifetime if it ever gets damaged or stolen off the car, that they would replace it no questions asked. She also explained about having to order it because it's not normally stocked and the labor rates. Luckily my car only needs 30 minutes install time and total out the door is $200. Ordered it over the phone and came back about a week and a half later to get it installed. Staff were professional, quick and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this specific U-Haul site to anyone interested in their services. Keep up the great work over there!

I understand that "it's not U-Haul's problem" (as quoted from the man on the phone I spoke with at 6:48pm) my mother is moving across country, the moving company she hired never came (USA Logistics are SCAMMERS btw), and we were going to be charged an additional $2,200 for rent from our home because her stuff would still be in the house on the 1st of October.. I get that. But all I had requested that the man stay open an additional 5 mins so we could get that truck and have a glimmer of hope that everything would be okay. Well that man on the phone was so ugly to me by saying that it's not his problem and that any other night he would oblige but this night was not that night. Now we have to get rid of EVERYTHING. Tables, chairs, TV's, clothing, sheets, pots, pans etc! So thank you U-Haul for not having some humanity by staying open 5 extra minutes of your valuable time. Nice to know you don't care and that's fine you aren't required to care but that left such a nasty taste in my mouth. I can accept my fault in this situation but that was so uncalled for to say that it's not their problem. Just ugly. Way to make people's lives worse. Disgusting.
