“The only negative would be the volume level. However, for most people, that's not even a negative comment, and they make up for it because the bar offers ear protection if it is too loud for you. The servers are great the seating is good and if you don't have a good seat the bar area has a screen which is great because you don't have to miss anything if you're ordering another drink.

We love Darcy Kent Wine and the ambiance this location offers. The only downside is that there's no food and food trucks being outside, which is not the most reliable”

“We had such a beautiful wedding here back in August 2024. We stayed for the whole weekend there with our wedding party and everyone loved it! The guests adored the venue and we couldn't be happier! Thank you for making our wedding so memorable!”

“Rooms: Rooms are nice- plenty of accessible, convenient outlets and work surfaces.

Nearby activities: A 5 minute walk gets you to a 15 minute bus ride to downtown area where there are lots of great restaurants and entertainment.

“The rodeo was fun. The drink options were limited. Coots was the only beer and I didn’t see any wine options but surely there must have been some. Not enough drink vendors. The parking lot is crowded and takes a long time to get out.”

“Tried it out for the first time with a 2.5 and 5 year old.

Check in was simple/efficient even with two antsy children not so patiently waiting. Cost was $19/child ($16+$3 for PaBF specific socks), pretty standard. No time limit that I was made aware of.

Play area was smaller than I was anticipating based on other indoor playgrounds we’ve been to, side toys (train table, gear wall, etc) were an aging afterthought, but relatively clean (including bathrooms) and the kids weren’t bored after almost 2 hours of running around.

They had snacks for purchase but you could also enjoy your own.

Probably wouldn’t host an event here due mainly to the size and compactness of it all, but not a bad spot for the kids to burn some energy on a cold/rainy day.”

“If to rank all the vineyard type of courses I've ever played, Poppy Ridge is top 3 (Wente is still the best, and Eagle Ridge might rank similarly with Poppy, but I only got to play at the composite 9 holes twice, see if the rank can be advanced once the 18, hole is fully constructed next year).

This temporary 9 holes is a combination of their used-to-br three 9-hole courses, but mainly Merlot, the new Hole 3 to 8 are the old Merlot Hole 1 to 5, while they divided the old Hole 5 (par 5) into 2 par 4s, and you know what these 2 new short par 4 holes are my favorites, as you might be able to drive your balls onto the greens directly, though the wind is very strong here”

“Probably the best HI Express hotel property that my wife & I have ever visited.  Location is very convenient to I-580 access (without the freeway noise), as well as to the Dublin/Pleasanton BART Station and to Livermore attractions. The facility is well maintained, inside & out. The Front Desk & Housekeeping staff were all friendly and professional. Our room & the public spaces were clean and attractively decorated.

The daily breakfast buffet was HIE standard, but the service & products & table cleanup kept up with the morning guest traffic thanks to the friendly attendant Marlene. She was always quick to offer greetings & help with guest food handling & checking to see if everyone was satisfied with their meals. Over-and-above, Marlene graciously agreed to snap photos of our party-of-5 which included our friends who were visiting California from the UK. She was the icing on the Cinnamon Rolls for our 4-night stay @ Holiday Inn Express & Suites Livermore.”

“Ice skating year-round? Cool. Really nice staff, too. They even sell hot chocolate ?. Right now Tri Valley's focus is more on organized skating, but free-skate times are still available. Just call and ask when.Personally, I would like to see a little more seating available. Bring a jacket.”
