I normally don't shop at Ace Hardware because, to be honest, they are expensive compared to Lowe's. However, I needed parts for my shower ASAP as I was in the middle of fixing it and couldn't go all the way to Lowe's.
Not only was the gentleman that helped me knowledgeable about plumbing, he even told me that what I was thinking about doing to my shower would not work, and that I needed to do it another way (which was the correct way by replacing the washers). I was highly impressed and THANKFUL that I went here for my plumbing needs. Just wish I could remember the gentleman's name to Thank Him!!!

This is by far the best Hardware/Home Improvement store in the area. The employees here are always friendly and helpful and seem to have a lot of knowledge. They also have a lot of people working so you hardly ever have to wait to be helped. I love that you can get small single items for projects here without having to buy big packages of extra things you don't need. For a small store, they have a really good selection. The prices are a bit higher here and the selection of larger items for projects (like wood) is very limited but the convenience and ease of use of the store more than make up for that. This will continue to be the first place I go whenever I need something for a project.
