For the first time in *18 yrs of coming we were denied the cash advance and told we owe money to irs??????? Apparently on one of my old emerald cards I had a negative balance of $29. I don't understand how that could have happened, but after being with you for so long and the amount that is owed I just feel we shouldn't have been denied, this is not a irresponsible choice we just made, and clearly it can be taken from our return, so this was my first disappointing visit so far, and the most I ever actually needed that advance with this pandemic here.

AMAZING customer service! I believe our lady's name was alma or irma (sorry I can't remember!) she's at the Lodi location on cherokee. She is so so smart and so so fast. Knows what she's doing and persuaded us to get my refund from the previous year to help get us more funds. I was weary about this because I was in a pinch and was needing my tax refund advance soon as possible. I ended up taking her advice because she said we'd get at least an extra $1000. The next day, came back in (she already had everything done and ready other than that!) and we actually ended up getting an extra $3500!!!!! 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Been here before and have always had amazing service. Thanks to H&R Block, my son and I will feel so relieved once we get the rest of our return and it will be so much sooner than if I would have done them myself, all thanks to you guys. Keep up the amazing service!!
