The people there seem very nice and helpful and anytime I've used them they've been great. I trust them to do what's necessary, without trying to push you to do more. But they do tell you their concerns if they see something that should be taken care of.

Poor communication. If they don't want to address an issue they will simply hang up on you. I have made several phone calls where they just hang up. Zero communication since February. Shop writes bad checks!!! Currently owes $3538.13 with zero resolution.

I brought my car there because it might have a head gasket blown or a cracked head and there might be water in the pistons.So we looked at putting a used motor in it.Saves on doing a bunch of work and then have to change the motor anyway.I found a motor with 45000 miles on it for 1500 + a five year warranty.I tried to work with Gonzalo to see if they could swap out the motor.I talked to 3 other shops on the price to swap motors.All said that it’s the price to swap motors plus oil,A/C charge,maybe a couple belts or hoses
1 place was 1200 2nd place was 1300 3 rd place was 1500 This place would never give me a quote on what it was just to switch the motor out plus everything else that might be needed along with it. They just kept in one sentence getting to three $4000. It was absolutely ridiculous what it was is they couldn’t rip me off on the price they didn’t want to do the job Which I’m towing it today but they are not upfront people they might do small OK they might fix a couple little things for you OK but anything major if they can’t absolutely just rip you off they don’t wanna do it because they would never give me a straight answer on a price just to swap the motor we all know little things can come up but to swap the motors to go to 1500 and he just races up to like three and then the next word is 4000 they Insane you’re crazy if you bring your car there

We have been customers with Lodi Smog & Service Center from their start up at the Main Street location nearly 20 years ago. They have serviced all of our vehicles, the good ones and the junkie ones. I was able to get my smog checked and my new registration stickers instead of having to make the extra step of going to the DMV or going online, it’s a one stop shop. The service was quick, thorough, and very friendly! I will definitely be going here again!Service: Auto emissions testing

I had a check engine light with code P0442 SMALL EVAP LEAK, Hilary & members did a full diagnostic to find out multiple fuel leaks from top of fuel tank, found fuel pump module cracked, filler neck pipe hose melted and rusted lock ring. They had my vehicle for one week to bring in new parts, getting replaced and process of elimination in a close system.My check engine light is off and I am satisfied with the work they carried out with the code. Fast and friendly services with reasonable prices. I will return again. I like the location as well. We walked to downtown Lodi and had a coffee and gelato while we waited for the car to be serviced.
