Great service at Lodi Transmission. I called several transmission shops and none of them wanted to take on the servo bore repair or had the proper boring tools to do the job. Lodi Transmission knew exactly what I needed and handled it without any issues. Very happy with the service and the work they did. Glad I found a shop that could actually do this repair correctly. Highly recommended.

Recently I experience a bad used car purchase and Lodi Transmission was right there to help us and due to the situation didn’t even charge for the initial diagnostic review. If I wasn’t locked into the dealership to fix the issue they would have done it right away for me! The whole time they worked with me and communicated with me and never seemed frustrated with dealing with me, the warranty company and dealership….which was a lot! I now take all my car even for oil changes to them….they are the best and really care for their customers.

Excellent service by a shop that genuinely cares about customers.
I had been towed into Lodi Transmission by AAA after suffering a breakdown on the I-5 Freeway. My front driver's side wheel had fallen off after suffering a catastrophic failure of three studs shearing off of the hub. I was towing a U Haul trailer and needless to the situation could have ended very badly with losing a wheel at 70 mph. After sleeping in the vehicle overnight awaiting the shop to open, the owner Ron approached me and had already been apprised of our situation by AAA and proceeded to jack up my vehicle and get it into his shop even before opening hours! Ron had the service advisor, Jose prioritize our vehicle and get to work on it immediately. He stated that we needed to get back on the road as we had 900 miles left in our journey. After assessing our vehicle it was determined that we required a new front rotors, break pads, studs and lug nuts as well as a new wheel as two of the holes were damaged. Ron and his crew were able to source a wheel from a local yard and complete the rest of the work before days end! Two test drives were performed on our vehicle post work to ensure that everything was okay. Ron personally did the second test drive and looked over the entire vehicle to ensure it was all up to snuff and safe for us to drive, amazing! The concern that Ron and his crew have for customers is above and beyond. I would recommend this shop for anyone in the area that requires Auto service. I only wish I lived 900 miles closer to this shop! All of this service performed at an honest and reasonable price. An added bonus of 10% off for being a AAA member. I am beyond happy with the service performed at this shop and left feeling like I made friends in Lodi, California.

You can take your vehicle here with confidence. It's quite evident the owner/manager is dedicated to making sure things are done right. You can tell his staff is also a notch above what you'd normally see in today's shops. If the dealership lets you down, take your vehicle here. They're honest and will help you make the right decision.

They did a wonderful job at repairing my car. Originally I went in for a pinion seal leak but on further inspection it was determined that the differential was the main problem. They replaced the seals and bearings. They were very helpful and very willing to answer all my questions, and not once seemed annoyed for me asking lots of questions My service advisor Bo/beau (not sure how to spell his name) was very informative and kept me updated on everything. Even when they damage my driver rear axel boot they let me know and told me they would replace the axle at no charge to me. Would definitely be taking my car back for my transmission filter and fluid change. Definitely a shop you can trust

This is hands down THEE BEST!! Jose and Bo EXCELLENT customer service!! I went in for a brake check….. they checked all my fluids for free! Clear and concise diagnosis!! They stayed within the time frame quoted! Will only go here for future car needs!!! Thank you!!

Took in my 2020 Silverado, transmission was acting up on inclines. 165k miles on it.
These guys are legit. They test drove, dropped the pan, made recommendations and did exactly what they said they would do, for the exact price they quoted me. With no maintenance records, a complete overhaul was needed. I’m always skeptical, but I never once felt like I was taken advantage of. They were very informative and knowledgeable. They always kept me up to date and finish the job earlier than expected. Thank you

2015 Ram 2500. Took my truck in for transmission performance issues. I was getting P0871 warning on OBD reading. Upon initial inspection, I was told that the transmission pan needed to be dropped for further inspection. They inspected and found the valve body needed to be replaced. The solenoid block was also replaced. The transmission works perfect now and the truck runs smooth. I was informed of what needed to be done and my permission was obtained in advance for all the work performed. I'm very happy with the service and I would recommend Lodi Transmission. Thank you Beau.
