“Most corporate slogans are just puff, but the Planet Fitness in Eureka truly is a judgment free zone. I am autistic, and this is the most welcoming and low-key gym I have ever visited. I have low eye contact and prefer gym pants that look several sizes too big for me, and I get none of the subtle side-eye or overt hassling that I’ve experienced at other gyms. The staff are kind. I think they sensed that I’m awkward with interaction, and they adjusted their greetings to make things easier on me. The people exercising are also very chill. Folks are good about sharing space and machines, and beyond that everybody’s doing their own thing. There are folks here of all ages, sizes, and fitness levels, dressed all different kinds of ways. So if you are someone who wants to get healthy but feels excluded by the typical gym culture, I would give this place a try.”

“I’ve been coming to this gym for a while now and it’s honestly been a great experience. The place is always clean, the equipment is well maintained, and there’s plenty of space so it never feels overcrowded. The staff is the best and very helpful. the overall vibe is motivating without being intimidating.
What I like most is that it works for all levels—whether you’re just getting started or you’ve been training for years. It’s easy to stay consistent when you actually enjoy the environment, and this gym definitely makes that easier.
If you’re looking for a solid gym with a good atmosphere and everything you need to get better, this is a great choice.”

“If you are having a hard time finding an open machine make the trek to the Friendly City. Usually low trafficked, this location is clean, newish and has a lot of options as far as machines and classes. Friendly staff too that never bug you.”
“Awesome. $30 a month for the autopay membership, which includes access to the entire facility. Two weight rooms, one upper and lower, and 3 treadmills total. Good atmosphere, equipment is always clean, and the staff is always making sure there are towels/cleaner available for when you are done with an exercise.
My only complaint would be the leg curl machine only maxing out at 210, but thats pretty heavy and excellent for endurance training for myself,
and also that they close at 3pm on weekends. All of the shifts I work I cannot get off before 4pm, so I am unable to work out on the weekends at all.”
