Holy Toledo why is there a crater the size of the meteor that took out the dinosaurs in the middle of the road? I was driving down redlands blvrd yesterday in my brand new used 2016 ford fusion when I ran into the biggest pothole I've ever encountered. It destroyed my tire and sent my car out of alignment. Thankfully I called the city hall in Lima Linda and they said come with evidence and cost of repairs and they'd pay for it. That is the only reason I'm giving 3 stars. Overall a pretty cool city though some awesome smoke spots if you can climb a ladder to.

2023/102 Loma Linda City is about 60 miles from Los Angeles and in a good day, it would be a drive of about an hour and 5 minutes. This city is the home to the world famous Loma Linda University Medical Center and Children's Hospital. Since Loma Linda has been known in history to be the center of health and wellness research. Loma Linda was the first "SMOKE - FREE CITY" in the San Bernardino County in 1993. Almost a third of the residents here are Seventh Day Adventists. Most businesses are close on Saturdays except Walmart, Stater Bros and Starbucks. Make sure call any shops or restaurants first before driving out on Saturdays.

This is mainly a Seventh-Day Adventist community town. Most of the stores in this town are closed on Saturdays, but only the larger brand chain stores are opened like Stater Bros, Walmart or Starbucks. Nice and quiet community. There's several medical students living here that attend Loma Linda University and a majority of them continue to work at Loma Linda Medical Center.

over 14 weeks and still waiting to get building plans approved? what is the problem? only 2 hrs a day to call and can't seem to get thru. Doesn't seem fair to residents to string things out this long.

Who ever is in charge of the detours on Barton rd should be fired!! I can't believe they would add a detour that goes back into residential area and after 10 minutes of driving it comes to a dead end. So now late for work and have to back track to mountain view which has 2 stop signs at a 4 way stop light again poor planning. There should have a message for detour at that time. I have to say the moron in charge should be fired!

My favorite city to drive through. It's very quiet here on the weekends so make sure you turn your radios down. Also, the majority of the town are Seventh Day Adventist so you'll find veggie spots everywhere. Loma Linda is home to Loma Linda University.

I used to frequent the city of Loma Linda because I attended LLU. I am from the San Gabriel Valley area (626) and the heat in Loma Linda (and San Bernardino in general) is just HOT! It is almost always 5-10 degrees hotter in Loma Linda than where I live so I dreaded the drive to Loma Linda mainly because of the weather. Often times, many classmates & my friends would ask me why don't I move closer to Loma Linda or why don't I move to Loma Linda to cut down my commute time. Well let me just tell you one thing that one of my professors told my class once, 'there's a reason why Loma Linda University is out in the middle of no where'.. basically to limit the amount of temptations and distractions (LLU is a religious school after all). And that is so true, there really isn't a whole lot out in Loma Linda (or San Bernardino really... I should know, because I work in San Bernardino County). So why would I want to move to a city with nothing ness that is incredibly hot? No thank you, I will take my long commute any day than to moved out here (sorry Loma Linda residents.. but perhaps a large number of you would agree with me). But the 2 main things that Loma Linda is known for us their prestigious school, LLU & their innovative hospital (Loma Linda Medical). And so with that, I award the city of Loma Linda 3 stars.

I like this city. I've found that I spend a lot of time in Redlands & Loma Linda even though I don't live in either of these cities. God bless the Adventists for what they've done to keep L.L. and Redlands the way they are.
