The store is under new ownership, never even knew it was going to happen. The old owners never told anybody. The new owner Arthur pretty cool guy.

Although very clean and extremely friendly staff, (although the male cashier comes off overly friendly in a creepy kinda way), they do not accept EBT, their items are overpriced, they charge 50 cents to run cards as Debit, AND parking is slim to none. There are only two dedicated parking spots in front, and with a fire station next door, it makes parking impossible. Also, their policy of forcing you to run your Debit card as Credit, doesn't make ANY sense. It costs businesses more to run Credit Card transactions. Unless, the profit that they make from the 50 cent fee is enough to cover the fees they incur from Credit transactions. Not only that, but, many people don't know that running a transaction as Credit doesn't reflect immediately, so, if someone is low on funds, and they aren't aware, they are likely to be overdrawn, and possibly incur fees from the bank. Debit transactions reflect immediately. AND, they don't even give you an itemized receipt, when they clearly are entering each item in the POS, (register). So, all in all, convenience trumps everything, and that's the only reason why I would EVER stop here.

Just the best. Family owned. Courteous and friendly. And... the coldest beer in Lomita!

Literally the best family ever. They are always so sweet. I love my conversations with the daughter. She's awesome. Also very well priced. I always shop here before bigger company's. We have to support our local family owned businesses. Especially during these times.

It's an older liquor store. Lotto tickets, beer, snacks, etc. There's a newspaper rack.

I've been coming here for the past 2 years since moving to Lomita. The family is always welcoming and helpful. I'll continue to spend my money here before going to the bigger stores. We have to supposed our small local business!

First of all they barely have any of the prices labeled which is super annoying. I go in the store 15 minutes before their stated closing time and the male owner begins following me around the store. No one even greeted me, I said hi and there was just silence that followed. So the guy begins following me around the place and he keeps asking me what I want. I tell him I need a couple minutes to decide but how much is this case of beer; he responds with "I don't know! You have to bring it to the front" ok. I start looking at the wines. And he YELLS at me "UHM EXCUSE ME WE CLOSED" I haven't even been in there for more than 5 minutes and now I feel scared and rushed so I just pick up a bottle of barefoot and went to the register. I ask what time they closed because the door was wide open when I walked in and she says 9. I look at my clock and it's 8:51. Wtf. I'm embarrassed that I pretty much supported this store by buying a bottle of wine after how rude I was treated. I wish I had read the yelp reviews before stopping by here, I would've just gone to lomita liquor or the liquor store on pch. DONT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS THEYRE RUDE AND UNGRATEFUL TO THEIR PATRONS.

I believe this is a family owned business. The mother is not really friendly and barely wants to greet her customers and say hello. The daughter is okay. She could be a little more friendlier. Overall its just convenient to my house but not the best place to feel welcome.
