This location for the most part has mostly 1 star reviews for good reason. They sold me tainted eye drops a few months ago. Who keeps all their receipts. The FDA just recalled most of the eye drops they sell and the FDA website said CVS will give you a full refund. When I brought the drops back, the cashier was clueless about the recall, I had to hand her a print out of the recall list. There are no eye drops on their shelves for less than $10 and I know I paid at least that much. They gave me crredit for the tainted eye drops $3.69 which I know there is no way that is how much I paid. I paid much more. I think they deliberately lower the price for people when they bring back the tainted eye drops. After I got my "gift card" for $8 for tainted drops I most likely paid $18, I went back to the eye drop shelf and there was no eye drops for less than $13. I brought the least expensive eye drops up to the check out counter and counter is was $16. The cashier called the manager and he called me "Bro" "You bought the cheap drops" I said "cheap drops, it says CVS Health, equivalent to a major brand". So I have to assume from the managers answer, that CVS may have known these drops were tainted so that is why they sold them for so much less than the other brands if I am to understand the manager's reaction and based on the refund they gave me. CVS is a dying company and the manager at this location reflects that. I switch a few years ago from CVS to Walgreens for my medications because the kept requesting refills with out my permission and I did not ever approve auto-refill. CVS has been investigated for this practice. I say all beware of CVS. Shop elsewhere. I was told to go to Walgreens if I did not like their service or solutions. And indeed I did get new eye drops at Rite Aid and all my prescriptions at Walgreens even though I pay $10 or $15 more without the aggravation and deceptive practices. I also intend to contact a class action attorney about initiating a legal response against CVS based on the reaction of this manager at this store regarding the eye drops that have the potential of totally or partially impairing eye sight of customers who were unfortunate to purchase CVS tainted eye drops as the manager said...."were the cheap drops". Very disturbing.

Decided to find an appointment for my COVID booster but wanted to stick with Moderna to be consistent with all other vaccines and boosters I have received. Lomita CVS had earlier appointments than Redondo Beach, so I made an appointment at 12:30pm. Slam dunk, let's go. I arrived at 12:20pm and checked in. There were so many people in the waiting area, 5 people sitting in the 6 chairs set out. Say what? Do they always have 6 people waiting? Why so many chairs and a whole area? Seriously, store real estate for a vaccination waiting area? Uh oh. Vaccinations are done in these little privacy cubicles with sliding doors with 80" walls. They remind me of public restrooms in Europe. If you know, you know. I was finally called at 12:52pm, but the technician wasn't ready. He had to get more needles or something. Sigh. Didn't get out of there until 1:00pm. What is the point, no point intended, but it is funny, what is the point of the appointment system if CVS doesn't adhere to the times? How the heck do they get thrown off? The only redeeming benefit of getting the booster from CVS was that I also got a $5 coupon off a $20 purchase which expires at the end of the year. Ok, bye.

Two stars only because I like the non-pharmacy staff. They tend to be delightful in a rascally sort of way. Even so, do your best to avoid this store.ENVIRONMENT: TRASHYThe shopping carts, found inside the doorway, are affixed with tall poles, taller than the CVS doorway, ensuring that nobody can take a cart from the building into the parking lot. Want one of the items they've decided is a high theft risk? You'll go to that part of the store, but you won't find the item; you'll find photos of that item, pinned to a shelf, with a sign that tells you to bring each photo to the front desk for purchase. Heck, even the ATM has a hinged flap that rests on your hand as you punch in your PIN. Everything about the store screams, "we're assuming a lot of you are robbers." STAFFING: TRASHY They push hard to make you use the self-checkouts, seemingly resentful that they need to staff humans at all. They declined to take me for a walk-in covid test, but when I came back for a drive-thru appointment, they were no less than 40 minutes late getting to me. Most of us in the line of cars just turned off our engines while we waited. I read a few chapters of my book.STOCK: TRASHY Empty shelves everywhere, and whatever you're looking for, half of it is sold out. On my last visit, they had exactly one covid test package for sale, at $24 instead of the more common 17 or 18. I balked at that price and just ordered one on Amazon, so somebody else will get to be the reason CVS is all out of covid tests. With so little support for covid, I find it hard to take them seriously as a pharmacy. And with so little staff and stock, I find it hard to take them seriously as a store. They're probably best viewed as a convenience store: sketchy, pricey, missing what you came in for, and only to be used when absolutely necessary.

Shopping in Lomita, California...I saw this CVS down the block and across the street. I thought: wouldn't it be great if I could find a rain poncho at regular price and use the 30 percent off coupon on my CVS app?We parked easily and entered the cozy store. We checked the aisles, but were unable to find a rain poncho. (It was supposed to rain because of a hurricane in the south.)On a whim, as we were about to give up, I asked the cashier if there were any rain ponchos. She knew exactly where they were: behind the shopping carts, next to the ATM. She moved the shopping carts out of the way. On the top shelf of the display with the umbrellas, were red, blue and orange rain ponchos! Yay!I told her that I wanted to use my 30 percent off coupon. She looked up my account, found my coupon and applied it to my balance! Yay! $9.99 plus 9.5 percent tax is a good deal! Thanks to CVS (Longs Drugs Store in Hawaii) for being consistently reliable!

Located off Narbonne in Lomita. Not much to say it's a CVS and similar to other CVS stores. The lady working was very helpful and was very nice. Overall a good CVS and nice staff.

Pretty much all the various CVS stores around the area are the same. This one is no different. It offers all the things that CVS is known for as well as having its pharmacy.Located on the corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Narbonne, this CVS is easy to get to. There's a large parking lot which in circles the store so you won't have any trouble finding a place to park when you come me here to get whatever it is you may need, grab your prescription, or get your vaccination.Staff here is always nice, helpful, and friendly.Overall, if you need what CVS has to offer, this is a place to go.

I took the drive thru Covid test here at the same time with a family member 2 days ago. My family member got their results by text last night and I did not. I'm quarantined away from my family and away from my child and missing my work shifts so it's urgent for me know my results. I called the pharmacy, a girl who was very rude for no reason. I'm on the phone feeling so sick just asking a simple question and she was so short and off putting with no hint of courtesy. Someone needs to give her some days off work so she can be nicer or something. I work in customer service as well and there's much better ways to talk to the public.

Do not use if you need to get a COVID test for travel, or if you ever want to get results back. 5 days and still no result, flights had to be changed and needed to book rush tests just to be able to get home. Stayed on hold for hours to have them tell me there is nothing they could do. Fairly confident that we never get our tests back from there. Do not waste your time and energy with this place.

Do NOT get your COVID Test here if you need to travel. I planned a trip to Hawaii with the family and did the 72 hour COVID Test so that I wouldn't have to self-quarantine for 10 days in Hawaii. Paid $136 for this test.Took the Test on Saturday, for a flight on Tuesday. The test came back on Monday saying "Test not performed. Quantity not sufficient." Drove back to see if I could perform the test asap so I could still get my $136 worth. They said I was out of luck, to schedule appointment again (I had to leave the next day), and didn't help at all.

Love this convenience store though I have Kaiser for prescriptions. Always receive a friendly greeting. They seem to be understaffed but always get a 2nd register opened. Sometime I feel the shelves need refilling more often. All in all this is my store and I love it.
