I switched to Albertsons from CVS because I was so tired of the awful service there. For the first few years it’s been great, but I’m honestly getting tired of the long waits and slow service. I’ve walked out without my prescriptions multiple times because the line is unmoving while 1 technician deals with patrons at a snail’s pace. Today was one such day. I’ve never worked in pharma, but I have never worked somewhere where supervisors don’t jump in to help when busy; here they just keep their eyes down and ignore the growing line. I’m just so tired to taking the gamble every time I try and pick up a prescription.

Service at the store is generally good. However, the website only seems to get buggier with each passing week. Compared to other pharmacies this is a disaster.

Some clerks demand personal information that has no relevance to medication prescribed. Too nosey.

I have never had a pharmacy tech argue with me about picking up a medicine for my child until now. Renee is rude and unprofessional. I hope she just had a bad day and doesn’t treat everyone the way she did to me. Rufus, the pharmacy manager, has purposely not helped me get my prescription and was really rude as he blindly backed Renee (he was not present to her behavior), and threatened to not fill my prescription out of spite. He told me he reached out to my doctor regarding the prescription wording but 3 days later I followed up, and confirmed that he did not reach out to the doctor like he said. I have kept my composure with these individuals but strongly suggest that calls be recorded to ensure respectful communication and for someone higher up to visit this place and supervise how they operate. I have asked to be in touch with whomever oversees this pharmacy as they have intervened with my child’s treatment, but Rufus refuses to give me that info. Aside from these experiences, I have enjoyed going to this pharmacy.

I had all my prescriptions transferred to Savon. When they were transferred Savon filled all of my prescriptions. I never asked them to fill them. We still had 40-50 pills still left. When I went to pick up what I could take since they had filled them, the young man that waited on us snuck back in one of the pill bottles I had asked him not to put in. When I called Savon the manager told me I had to take it because I had left with it. I told him I didn’t even know he had put it back in my bag and he told me the young man told him I never told him not to put it in my bag. I guess the customer is always wrong or a liar at this Savon. It’s not the cost of the pills that bothered me, it’s the fact that I asked him not to put it in my bag because I had too many already and he did anyway and then the manager told me too bad because I already paid and took it out and the fact I didn’t know he snuck it back in didn’t matter. I won’t do business with a pharmacy that does things like this. Too bad because I have gone here for years with medicine I needed right away. I changed all my other medications because we got new insurance that doesn’t take express scripts.

I had all my prescriptions transferred to Lompoc Savon because we got new insurance that didn't take Express Scripts anymore and they filled them all when they got them. I didn't ask them to fill them. When I went to pick up ones that I didn't have a lot of I had told the young man the ones I didn't want and he had snuck one back into the bag that I had told him I didn't want. When I got home I noticed what he had done. The next day I called and the manager said I had to keep it because I had left with it. The young man also told him I didn't tell him I didn't tell him I didn't want it. The manager told me pretty much I was lying and i had to keep it. I won't go back there even though we have used them for years for medications when we needed them right away. I shouldn't have to take medications because they fill them and all I had asked was for them to be transferred. We already had so many and I was trying to be nice to take what I could that I didn't have more the 40-50 pills already.

Pharmacy Staff are the best! Receive texts when scripts are ready plus costs. Don't like lunch closure for 1hr instead of staggering staff but I understand. Love this pharmacy.

Too bad I couldn't give a lower score, However customer service is horrible! I wish I could remember the name of the women who first answered the phone and constantly spoke over me. Albertsons made a mistake in billing my prescriptions. They were charging a "Discount card" by mistake, which I never gave them or authorized. I called to correct the issue and have them bill my insurance, actively trying to fix the issue. They women that answered the phone was rude, talked over me, would not listen, keep repeating herself, but would not answer my questions. Once I got to the point where I knew I would start yelling and being rude, I asked for a supervisor at which point she hung up on me. When I called back, she placed me on hold over and over. When I called back again... She muttered to her coworker before hanging up the phone, "who the F... Is this guy".. at that point I called my physician and changed pharmacies. I hope you have better luck then I did... This is just my story. Sad I was treated this way trying to correct their error.

I have not entered a 'one star' review for more than two years. In fact, I promised myself that I'd never again mess with such troublesome posts--since they often cause backlash from other customers or recriminations from managers/owners. But....what the fluff? I gots to do this because I've grown to hate Albertsons. About two weeks ago we planned to make a L A R G E grocery purchase at Albertsons, utilizing one of their 10 percent off coupons that you get from the pharmacy after taking a vaccine or booster shot from them. One item that was central to our purchase was a ham that I'll be cooking on Christmas Day. So we bought the ham-- which was an advertised deal at something like 88 cents a pound-- but when I got home I discovered I was charged more than 3 dollars per pound. I had picked up a "Signature Select" ham instead of a Cook's ham. The signage was unclear although I took my ham from the sale area. The difference in price was around $23. The ham I SHOULD have gotten was less than the error! So, fast forward to a few days ago when I planned another big grocery purchase centered around using a bunch of their "just for U" digital coupons. What a joke!! I used their self-checkout lane for the first (and last) time and it was a nightmare. Instead of getting a two pound chunk of cheese for $4.88 like the pricing sign on the self indicated, I was charged the full, non-sale price of $7.50. Also, some items rang up double and this was unnoticed by me and the helper-checker. So I got royally screwed again. And do you know what happens when you call the store to talk to the manager? The line just rings and rings and rings. Customer service is nonexistent, their digital coupon system and smartphone app sucks, there are never enough human checkers working, and their self-checkout stations are the worst I've experienced at any store ever. Don't shop at Albertsons; shop at G. O. or Foodsco.
