Sat. 11/4 around 5pm : Went to Albertsons to get dinner finding ground meat from the butcher is 7.99lb and tritip is 7.99lb thinking to myself I’ll have the butcher grind a tritip for better meat quality for elevated burgers. After standing at the counter for 3 minutes tritip in hand and the butcher sitting down on his phone to the left of the counter by the fish struggling to not make eye contact with me. Makes a big show of having to get off his phone to help me when he realized I wasn’t going to leave. Slowly putting plastic gloves on, sloths over now standing in front of me with no smile what’s so ever staring at me without asking “how can i help you” or introducing themselves waits for me to start the conversation. I awkwardly asked him if he wouldn’t mind grinding the tritip for me and he replies “the grinder is already tore down and cleaned” pausing thinking he was going to finish a sentence just agains stares at me. At this point I know this person just doesn’t care and I won’t be getting any quality customer service ask “when can I return to have a tritip ground” and he just replies try again in the morning when we open” I left the tritip at the butchers and walked out the store. This is the third time in a row i have had poor service at Albertsons in Lompoc and the third time i walked out empty handed, they use to be the place to go! Leadership needs help, staff need customer service training it all starts from the “top brass” down and there’s clearly a lack of leadership, motivation and accountability. There are plenty of groceries stores in lompoc I would recommend seeking another store with staff that has a friendly smile and wants to help. I Drove all the way to el rancho in solvang (sure I totally paid more!) but without hesitation the butcher ground the meat made small talk and made a suggestion to add to it for better tasting burgers. Night and day difference in the quality of service when staff is properly motivated and or just genuinely care for the community they help service.

The Pharmacists and their personnel are top notch. They are helpful, friendly, efficient and always keep things running quickly and smooth. Many Thanks and much respect to the Lompoc Pharmacy Department.

It was holiday rush for Labor Day. The place was clean, thouroughly stocked, and organized for being so busy. There were plenty of checkers to move the lines smoothly. This is a very good grocery store...doesn't always have the lowest prices like some of the other discount stores, but they have great promotions on certain items where you can save a lot of money. The items you need may not be on the current promotion though.

Lompoc is a minimal and secluded town, and it has been challenging for me to buy fresh fruits and vegetables elsewhere. I always enjoy my frequent visits here at Albertsons to get some small groceries to maintain our healthy diet. However, it is pricey to shop here, but you are paying for quality, and that is what I aim for. The place is also clean, and the staffs are all very welcoming and professional!

So this specific review is exclusively for the customer service, and nothing else. I'm not critiquing the stock, the pharmacy, the quality of the food, the number of checkstands open etc, just the staff, and I keep meaning to do it and have just been putting it off. They are so effing nice!Idk if it's training, this specific store manager, or what, but every time I'm in there every single person is always super friendly, super helpful-- the last time I was checking out and mentioned I forgot Mentos candy my son wanted for a science experiment and immediately the young man offers "let me find some for you!" Not, oh, that's nice. Or, yeah, I think they're in aisle 23..." He was like, ready to go get them for me.Even if it's all a front and they're in the breakroom rolling their eyes and cursing about customers, they do a FANTASTIC job out on the floor.

My husband left his wallet at home and asked staff to please hold his cart, as he'd be right back. I understand this happens often and people don't come back, but it's a 15 minute drive home and back. Although they told him they would keep our stuff aside, my husband returned to find more than half of the cart put back. With as much money as I spend at this Albertsons in a month, I am pretty disappointed. I'd like to recognize the drive up and go team, they do a great job. Maybe I'll have to stick to online orders and just won't come inside the store anymore, or make the drive to Buellton Albertsons.

Albertsons was nice and well-stocked however your prices are a little high especially on your meat. Other than that it was very nice if you can help us with a little amount of money

Self checkout lady made me feel like a criminal for taking one bag when I used my EBT. It was more the way she approached me and my 4 year old. She was watching us like a hawk. We purchased one bag of food for a hike. She offered no service while we checked out but she came up to us after we finished paying and knew what I paid with. I'm not a criminal I get free bags with EBT. I had no problem having them do what they need to but she was not nice. Really rude and made me feel very anxious. All you grocery stores need a better system for the free EBT bags it's not fair to make people feel like that.

I love shopping at this store! Everything is always nice and fresh! Then I stopped today to grab lunch for work because I'm working 11am to 12am. I thought it would be a good idea to buy their signature rib tips. I can't eat this. It's dried out and hard! I'll continue shopping here but please do a better job at controlling the quality of your products being sold. This meat is ridiculous! I appreciate it!

Staff is AMAZING!!!! Cleanliness is good. Stocking is kinda hit and miss, blamed on "what's available" which I understand but think is BS personally. Definitely prefer the "old Vons" at Pine and H Street but hey, it's all good

Well I go there on Fridays to buy my fish for my fish fry on Fridays so every time the Mexican lady is helping in the fish department she's never there you always have to wait on her an then when you do get her to come help you she's very, very rude NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS at all this last Fri they had her on a break and no one else to help us so we had to wait until she was finish with her break an of course she came with an attitude because now she has to work it was like 5 ppl waiting an I'mma keep going decided to buy wine ? this Friday and I get home to fry my fish an have some wine an the cork was so old an dry when I screwed the wine opener into the cork it started shaving like ice an breaking all apart ?? so yes I have cork crumbles in my bottle of wine that I paid 25 dollars for REALLY but I will say it was some good wine I just wish I could get the crumbles out the bottle ?? I thought Albertsons was supposed to be the good grocery store and great on the selective wine choices ??????? makes me wonder now

Albertson's prices are way above their competitors. They don't really offer anything unique. They attract the wrong crowd to Lompoc by having high prices. We like homies here.
