This bunch should be avoided at all costs. They are pure incompetent clowns still rubbing two sticks together to do an address change and still get it messed up. I paid my car loan off. I changed addresses. They sent me a change of address form. I called Virgina and asked her to verify she got the form. "Yes," she said. I waited and waited for my pink slip. I called Virginia. "What address did DMV send it to?" The old address, in so many words. Silence fir a moment, "I sent the change of address form!" "Go to the DMV." Incompetent. Waste my time. Ad momonym insults? Should I? They are a primitive bunch, disrespectful from their hold music, excessive hold times and they are plain horrible careless.

The absolutely wost financial institution out there, closed my checking account without notice and then when I tried to get money out of my share account ran into too many excuses to list. Have to drive 100 miles round trip to get my money. They had to check if a branch would have $7000 available. You cannot use a debit card to withdraw money from your account, really are they operating in the real world. All I can say is avoid them like the plague. They are a schlock operation that needs a deep review by the regulatory offices and then placed under the control of a more reputable organization.

I was greeted as soon as I walked in and it was good to be acknowledged! I had a question about where to start and the greeter directed me in a friendly and professional manner. The tellers were friendly and took care of my business efficiently. Coast Hills always looks out for the security of my accounts, which I really appreciate and it saves me a lot of time and trouble. And my finances are safe.

I became a member 2 years ago to take out a HELOC because they had good rates. The woman helping me was very nice and always answered my calls. First issue: It took forever (~2 mo) to get the HELOC even though I had excellent credit (greater than 820) and more than met the minimum LoanToValue ratio. It took so long that I had to take an interim loan from my IRA to pay the contractor working on the house. Second issue: Every time I go into the branch, their staff is befuddled when I ask the simplest of questions, such as "Can I pay the HELOC monthly payment directly from my Bank of America account?" After checking with everyone from the other head teller to the branch manager, they finally called their headquarters to get the answer. At the time the answer was NO, you have to pay from B of A to your Coasthills checking account and then have a withdrawal to the HELOC. The transfer is exceedingly slow. This is 2023 and it should not take as long as it did 5-10 years ago! Final issue (for now): The website is confusing and essentially a joke. It's not intuitive at all and uses banking acronyms in places that only 25 year olds understand. If I had it to do over again I would have paid a bit higher rate for a better experience at a different bank.

The load is under my husbands name wanted to make a payment and I was having issues because we had one payment behind. I went to pay they told me your husband needs to come in I was so mad made me Waite 30 minutes and could do the payment. Second time I went to the bank waited 1 hour to make a Payment asking everyone for permission so I can do a payment. Hello this is 2023 update your stuff. Or your not going to make it in this new era.

Line of credit will not list proper amount due. Have met with officers and top officials and no corrections have been made. Problem has been present for at least a year and no solution is offered. Customer is shown a higher payment is due.

I’ve been with COASTHILLS for over 20 years, and their service and customer support hasn’t changed one bit. Don’t understand why people bother going elsewhere, their branches are very convenient and have some of the nicest people there to help with your needs. Can’t wait to see the new branch in Lompoc when remodeling is completed.COASTHILLS is and always will be my family’s favorite.

Coast hills sucks!!! my sister in law had fraud charges from her Debit account! coast hills refuses to refund her money and says that who ever used her account had her email address phone number as well as her home address. My sister in law called the business the charges came from, and they were able to pull up the purchase, they informed my sister in law that the email address phone number and home address were not the same as my sister in laws!. Coast hills blatantly lied in order to not have to refund the money!

I was with Coast Hills most of my life starting back in the 1980s and I always loved the institution. I enjoyed the easy online transactions and they were always good to me in many ways. But. During the pandemic, I ran into hard times. Because of a financial roadblock with no other options, Coast Hills "restricted" my online access and put me into collections and I have been in this status since 2021. I am unable to see my accounts and important loans. Since 2021, I have not been able to see my overall financial picture that Coast Hills holds and unable to see my loan status online and therefore have been blindly going about just paying every month what is due without seeing interest charged, maturity dates or invoices sent to me. I have to call every month to see what's due on one of the loans. The financial roadblock was back in 2021. As of the writing here today, they are still punishing me by "restricting" me over two years later. I have to stay a member in order to come in and pay the loans due every month. So, I stay in "collection" status even though it's been two years and I have never been late on payments since 2021. I have been asking them to please let me see my accounts. But they continue to tell me no. I have asked to talk with supervisors. Still, the answer is no. The stress is overwhelming.

These people tried to steal 2250 from me, I wouldn't work with them again in a million years. Took me hours to sort it out. Management rude, and lacks any knowledge of their systems at all.
