The guy behind the counter is extremely rude, just like the other reviews have said. No reason to shop here when there are other stores next door with nicer employees.

Man working there was disrespectful, rude, and was not knowledgeable with outdoor gear.

I rarely leave reviews unless they're from a positive experience, but if I could leave negative stars I would. The store clerk, Matt, berated us about the condition of a broken solar shower my partner and I have used collectively 4 times in under two weeks. The handle was already ripped upon first use, and after a week, the nozzle was breaking off from being so stiff and unusable. It was clearly an aged product before our purchase, so we came by today to exchange it. Matt proceeded to make us feel as though we were trying to pull one over them, when in fact I've been a customer at this store on and off since childhood. Whenever visiting family, I get my hiking and camping tools here. That won't be the case again. He even called the owner, who said to give us the exchange, no problem. Then Matt continued to be rude, so we told him we'd prefer to just speak with the owner ourselves the next time. There won't be a next time... Beware, especially if you are a nomadic type who needs reliable gear. I'd suggest the other store on the next block.

Been by this place twice- about 2 years apart. Both times, the guy working there seemed irritated and bothered. Won't try a third time. Too bad too as the store has better hours than the two shops 1/2 a block away.

Fun place. Well stocked. Good advice on local points of interest. Just nice folks all the way around. A must stop when passing thru Lone Pine.

This place is incredible! I needed waterproof/snow pants to go on a hike and I found the perfect pair here. The man at the store was super nice and helpful. He clearly knows what he’s talking about. We’ll come back :)

I first have to start by saying the gentleman behind the counter when we stopped in seemed irritated and not thrilled about being there. All his answers were short, plus he never carried a sentence longer than yes or no. We asked for a few fishing items and help with a t-shirt. He gladly got the shirt for us but had a bad attitude about even selling anything. Would have spent way more money in the store but felt as though we weren’t wanted. Won’t stop by again.

Good place to load up on fishing gear and get the latest info on where the fish are biting in Lone Pine. This store has some other outdoor/camping supplies but mostly caters to fishing. Has some cool Lone Pine branded souvenirs as well. Owner was friendly and helped us promptly when we entered the store.
