The management was really kind and hospitable. When we asked for ice, they delivered it right to our room. The rooms were well furnished with nice clean sheets and a perfect retreat after finishing the John Muir Trail. We highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area. Some of the cheapest rates in town or nearby.

This is a dump. I have to say, as a longtime reviewer, I don't understand how this location gets a 4-star rating. I have no pictures because I wasn't there long enough to take my camera an take any. In fact I didn't bring anything in the room because I was concerned about the location.I came, I saw, I left.We were greeted by a bag of garbage at the front door. And a broken wooden stand on the sidewalk.I have no words except, I wouldn't stay here. In fact I didn't stay here, I left here.

The motel is clean, very nice!! The owner Anita is very helpful an friendly. Very quiet place to get your rest. An if you need anything Anita is here to help you. Walking distance to restaurants an grocery store.

This place is a gem. Built in the 60's and renovated in 1998 July 1st. The rooms are very comfortable and everything was clean and work perfectly. I will stay here again when I am in the area.ThanksNearby activities: Close to everything, food attractions.

This is an unpretentious and nice motel. It was recently upgraded and has all the conveniences one needs. Place is clean and beds a very comfortable.

The staff entered my room while I was out. When I was walking back to my room after checking out the town, I caught one of the staff members exiting my room. She looked shocked and frantically told me that the freezer in my room was over-freezing?? How would she know that? Why would it need to be dealt with while I was staying there? And why wouldn't I be notified? I didn't believe her. It was completely inappropriate and invasive. I checked all my devices when I got into the room to make sure nothing was tampered with. There were no signs of interference. I genuinely think this motel is cheap enough to have hidden cameras in the rooms. I was on edge all night. Also, ants are a problem.

This motel is a gem in Lone Pine. It is located one block off of the main road, the 395, so there isn't road noise. The rooms have been updated and it was done very nice. The rooms are very clean. I appreciated the electrical outlets on both sides of the bed located above the bed stands. Each of the outlets have two USB charge connections. The motels location is within a walking distance to food, grocery store and a laundromat.

Stayed on July 3rd and the rate was very good. Family that runs the place are nice and helpful. Room was up to date, very clean and had plenty of space inside. Would recommend and we will stay here

Room had the essentials IE a hot shower, cold AC, clean warm bed, mini fridge and a microwave. WiFi got the job done. Staff was friendly. Noise was minimal as the motel is far off 395. Fair prices during hiking/running season. I will return :-)

We liked this place, especially because it's quieter than the motels on the main street, which is a major trucking route. Our room needed a new mattress and that's the only reason we didn't give it 5 stars.
