Jason rebuilt the engine on my 2007 cayman. The whole process was very straightforward and all went as planned. He was nice enough to take pictures of the whole process so I could see what was being done! If I ever need to have any major work done on my car ill take it to him for sure!

One of THE best Porsche mechanics in the area. Jason has a complete understanding of the various Porsche engines and knows how to rebuild them from scratch. He also has very good machinists working with him to do the special jobs such as head repair and piston liner replacement in the block. He works closely with his wife who is also a porsche mechanic and understands engine issues. She is extremely knowledgeable and responsive to her customers. Their prices are very reasonable and their customer is made aware of the costs involved throughout the projects. I was also impressed with the customer support offered even after the project was completed. So 9xx motors is highly recommended for your Porsche engine and drivetrain needs.

I unfortunately ran into the dreaded intermix issue with my 2001 911 Carrera, and was almost immediately recommended to 9xx Motors on Rennlist. I shipped my car down to their shop for the repair, and within 3 months I had the vehicle back with a completely rebuilt engine. Their communication and speed during the repair were great, they constantly kept me up to date and sent high quality images documenting the items that needed repairing. Van and Jason were professional and very informative. I would highly recommend their shop to other 911 owners seeking repairs.

I have not been there but let me tell you. Honesty goes so far. I live in Hawaii and own two 911's my 2005 997 3.8 had over heated and when taken to my local dealer they said the car had oil in the coolant, blown motor 36k new engine. I started calling around for independent shops and asking questions about rebuilding motors. And either they are all too busy, don't have space or it's something they just don't do. After the car sat in my garage for a few months I decided I would check my options with Porsche mechanics on the mainland. I read in a Porsche motor sports forum that someone had there 2001 996 engine replaced at 9xx motors with a rebuilt one for a fraction of the price. So I called and spoke to them and was concerned as shipping a broken car from Hawaii back and forth on an unknown and wanted to know my options if I wanted to rebuild it my self. I was transferred on the phone to a mechanic ( I believe his name was Jason or JC ) he was very informative and asked me questions about the diagnosis as I explained what I was told at the dealer and the popular independent in addition to a few machine shops out in the Honolulu area. When I explained to him that the engine oil looked perfect and the car did not smoke, but had the oil in the coolant he explained he rebuilds a lot of motors and For my exact car, he has never seen a blown head gasket or cracked head. But he has seen 3 failed oil coolers on the M97 3.8l motor. So I figured I would give that a try myself to change that part. Well, I did and flushed the car a few times and that was the problem. I am so grateful for 15 minutes of your time to give me quality free advice and that your experience shinned through with wisdom not just knowledge. I wish I lived in so Cal for one reason now, so you could service my cars.

Took my 01 911 w/ 62K miles in for a IMS bearing replacement. They were great got it done quickly at a reasonable price. I would definable recommend 9xx. Replaced my IMS bearing and my clutch only charged me for the part since the car was apart. car runs great.

Jason is the real deal! He's not a self-promoter like so many in his business tend to be. Rather, he works quietly and diligently so that he can focus on the details that are truly important in order to provide you a bespoke engine that performs beyond expectation! The engine he built for me has so much potential, I still have not realized it all... smooth like a singer sewing machine but angry like a 500cc 2-stroke!

Very pleased with the compete rebuild that Jason did on my 1999 Porsche 911, I've been waiting to comment till 20K miles on the engine, it just passed smog with near zero readings, always smooth power and reliable....I shipped the car from San Jose and he did the remove, rebuild and install on time and per original quote.
