When your car won't start it can cause for a stressful situation. I immediately called AutoZone to see if they could test the battery which was only a few months old. Peter T, the store manager answered my call and told me to come in. When I arrived there were several people in line ahead of me. I left my car running in the parking lot because I was afraid if I turned off the engine I wouldn't be able to get it to start again. As I tried to patiently wait for my turn, I heard everyone cracking up. I soon realized Peter was the same nice guy who I had spoken with on the phone. He was making everyone laugh which instantly put my anxiety at ease. He was able to keep the line moving while providing updates in real time. I believe they were understaffed or maybe I came at a busy time, but Peter made what is typically a stressful situation, smooth sailing and dare I say fun? His easy going attitude and deep knowledge combined with his ability to multitask made me realize I was in great hands. He tested my battery and gave me the diagnosis while keeping me and the other customers smiling the entire time. I had a great experience all due to Peter and hopefully I won't have to go back but if I do I'll be sure to see if Peter is working.

Had to make a quick stop here to buy brake fluid, there was a line to pay but they worked quickly and helped everyone. Good customer service.

Customer Service is unprofessional. No greetings, bad attitude. Won't be going to that Long Beach Blvd store ever again. My experience was horrible.

Peter T was awesome!! He changed my car battery for me. It was difficult to remove because of corrosion (oops), but he got it cleaned up and out of there in no time. Thank you so much Peter!

Went to this location on 11.2.23 around 6:30pm. Online said the part was in stock so i went to the aisle and saw that the part was not there. Went to the desk and asked for the part, the attendant told me which aisle so i went to double check and nothing there. I asked if this is all they had he said that was it. He did not log into the computer at all so i went to the sante fe store where they had the part in the back. Long Beach blvd store is hit or miss on who you get but seems like the time i went, this guy was on an all day break hahahahahaha. This "Edgar" generation are lazy.

my boy friend went in after scratching his car and a worker named Yuni was able to answer all of his questions and get him what he needed and was able to get his car looking better.

The good thing about this store is that it has a loaner tool so you can do some minor repair out in the parking lot, like removing battery mount off your car, air filter change out, etc... depending on staff members, some actually come outside to give you a hand or two. Loan-A-Tool Program: " Need a specialty tool to check a system or make a replacement? With Loan-A-Tool, you can get the tool from them, return it when you're done, and save a bundle. " If you have questions regarding parts, they will try their best to answer them with the best knowledge as they can. The parts here are generic so, if you're looking for O.E.M. parts, best to contact your local car dealer or go online to order through their website at your preferred dealer. About this store parts, they have some pretty good warranty, so if the parts failed on you sooner than expected or damaged parts on arrival, they are more than happy to assist. NEVER EVER let anyone install or touch your car here!!There isn't even an option to put zero stars on here because it was the worst DISSERVICE I have ever gotten. I went in to get a new battery for my Hybrid and the cashier asked if I would like it installed. Long story short, 4 employees came out to try and install it, but instead FRIED my entire computer and left me having to leave in a tow, because they couldn't be honest and say they didn't know what their doing. Now they are lying saying I came in a tow, because they can't be decent beings and own up to damaging my car. What scandalous people these "employees" are. These damages are over $2100 so far, so please believe me when I say, never ever come here. You are better off doing that shit yourself on a YOUTUBE video then letting one of these people people help you. Beware...

I went into this location on a Saturday and purchased a bundle. Part of my bundle was a cabin filter. The computer said they had three in stock. The sales person told me that they would locate it and hold it for me for pick up Sunday at 10am. He also made me go through signing up for their rewards program since I had a large purchase. He gave me the whole spiel on how it would benefit me. I returned to the store Monday at 7:11pm and handed them my receipt and told them I was there for a pick up. The guy holding my receipt did not locate it and turned to me and asked "Are you sure you're at the right store?". I held my composure and simply pointed out that the receipt he was holding not only has the store number but also the address. He went over to the manager and the manager asked when I was suppose to pick up. Slightly frustrated responded back and told him yesterday at 10am. He went into a back area and came out with the filter. Fast forward I went into another location a week later to make a purchase and they asked for my phone number. The system did not locate me. I handed the clerk my previous receipt and was told that they never entered me into the system because if they did my name would have been on the receipt. Bottom line no credit for my large purchase. I won't even get into the fact that they all move at a snails pace so if there is more than 1 person in line be prepared to wait 15-20 minutes.
